@101proofcountryrebel Erm I don't think so, Pantera was a screwed up band that didn't know what they wanted to be. First they were the Heavy Metal Rules band and then they decided they'd make more money if they copied the Big Four. Down is totally pure, nothing has changed since its inception.

These motherfuckers take metal back to a place that should have been revisited long before now. They are the best at what they do. Pepper brings that classic COC groove, Kirk adds that undeniable heavy edge that only crowbar could and regardless of how you feel about Phil and his past, nobody can drive it home vocally and lyrically like he can. We need more bands like Down, COC and Crowbar. The music world as a whole would be much better off.......
