after you gave the password and entered the ship,you could have gone into tetra's cabin. inside there is a picture of link you saw at the beginning of the game,a picture of the three goddesses forming the triforce(the scene before you enter the tower of the gods) and her bed has the triforce on it. it's pretty much a tribute room to link.don't worry,it took me until i beat that part until i realized i could have gone in.lol,i was pissed. :)

I'd try capitalizing the first letter making sure it's spelled correctly. Hope that helps cause that's the best advice I have. If you forgot how to spell it talk to your boat he'll say it.

While still holding it, press left/right to change direction, or up/down to move up/down the rope
