I would like to attract your attention on the extremely interesting work, for the resolution of most of the environmental problems, by Dr Steven Greer and his friends, The Disclosure Project (Projet Révélation). You will find the links on Wikipedia.
As well, I invite you to see the introductive videos on the subject in my YouTube playlist called ' Time for UFO '
Greenpeace is worthless in saying the dolphin species is nearly extinct because of "Global Warming," stating no specifics as to how the climate is to blame.
Whats really killing the world wide dolphin population? A slant-eyed gook race known as Japanese.
In 5 short years, dolphins will be extinct, thanks to JAPS.
Look up "The Cove," videos on YouTube, you'll soon agree Japan needs to be Nuked off the face of earth, they are ruthless parasites rapidly draining our dwindling oceanic resources.
The Japanese corporations with western corporation investments that kill dolphins are not the only ones doing it, so are some people from denmark as a sick ritualistic tradition, what you see may be disturbing, please be warned before viewing.
@lovebille if every one starts eating veg...than the ratio og veg-nonveg food gets disturbed. u think if i talk abt india...if some parts stop eating fishes...the fish increases in sea than the water level of sea...so every one may get disturbed!!
But the unfortunate facts *are* that large corporations are generally responsible for much of the pollution of both air and water. Check out any reputable media outlet or ask any marine or climate scientist for the lowdown on that one.
tree huggers will follow any leader who tells them that some bad corporation is polluting the air and water - most never have the facts right, they just are all sheep....
ugh, I wish for a day when people will stop bringing up race for every little thing!! when will the world realize that YOU are going to die someday no matter what you look like so why spend your life caring about the way someone looks!!!
ugh, so irritating, how can you live your life that way.
@Miikaika25 very very close minded. What about the generations after you? What about all the million years it took for this planet to come where it is now? Who the f' are we to f' up our planet in as little time as 200 years? And all that great evolution?
You seem to care about only your generations, but you undoubtedly will have 2 children later(or have already) for the sake of the exponential growth.
Let's all apply some common sense before commenting.
The 10,000 people in the video are volunteers, paid nothing. The production crew are almost certainly Greenpeace activists and volunteers too. Standing on a beach costs nothing. Members of U2 are Greenpeace activists - I'm sure the music was offered for nothing.
HD cameras and video editing software are exceedingly cheap - kids just posting up blogs from their bedroom onto Youtube have such things these days. That's the "digital revolution" for you.
I doubt they bought a camera and video editing software specifically for this video and this video alone, then threw it away afterwards. They have these things anyway and have made many videos before and many videos after using them, posted to this channel.
So you have to strictly amortise those costs across all the videos that this equipment is used for.
There is even a distinct possibility that the equipment is not owned by Greenpeace - the director could have brought his own stuff - which then means it's not a Greenpeace expense anyway).
It's entirely possible that not a penny of donations was spent on this - as, yes, impressive and professionally made as it looks.
You see, quite appropriate to the message of the video, by illustrating it directly, that's the kind of power to make things happen that humanity can possess, when we all agree to work together.
You might think they're dreamers. But, you see, they're not the only ones.
I hope, some day, you might join us and the world finally be as one.
so you would rather them spend everything and save five or ten whales, than to spend a bit to spread the word to tens of millions of people and maybe get enough donations to save 50 or even 100 whales?
They ARE protesting against war. Darfur is a war about resources because of years of severe drought. Protesting for global warming is a protest for peace too.
Who says that these same people don't also protest against war too?
Just because these people are, in this video, protesting climate change, doesn't in any way prevent them from later going off elsewhere to protest war too.
You're assuming a mutual exclusion, which simply doesn't exist.
Someone can perfectly well protest climate change AND war. You don't have to choose between them - you can protest both.
The word "peace" also features in Greenpeace's name, as much as the word "green" does.
it is a Belgian vid :D (but where are the waffles?)

I wonder how much of donations they spent on this vid? When they could use to, umm, I dunno.. save a whale?

Probably very little, in fact.
