Ok so I'm on 4.3.3 BB 4.10.01. And when I install the source in cydia I have 2 options in cydia. One that says furiousmod iOS 4.x and another one that says Furiousmod. And whichever one I download it does not work. Can you please help?
I just tried this and all i got was a screen that said "waiting for activation" and the signal bar says "No Service." But, I have service with my sim card. Did I make a mistake somewhere?

Program furiousmod from cydia does lock up some iphones, happened to me the other nite. i messaged opinionativereviewer for any info on how to fix it he never got back to me. So i posted on applenberry facebook wall and they called me back, they told me that i was the 2nd iphone to have this problem and, and for me to keep doing a hard rest on the iphone until it loads then uninstall furiousmod and install gevey ultra manual sure.
@OpinionativeReviewer it worked for me with out jailbreak only problem is that i cant send mms but i can get them and it always shows 1 bar of signal on the top no matter were i am but that dosnt seem to bother me i got internet and calls are good

I try Gevey ultra, in my iphone 4.3.3 and I did everything you said in your video and it didn't work, I hate it, because it put my iphone in a kind of "Emergency call only screen" and I never couldn't fix it. @Barbi32105 the emergency thing happen to me a few times but i found out if u remove the sim card and gevey reboot ur phone 2 or 3 times it gets out of the emergency mode. did it 5 times now and each time it worked. i was so scared i fucked my phone but got it working with gevey sim ultra

I got this gevey ultra for 6.99 off of ebay and it works. But it does not work the same way that you describe in the video. It took me a while to get it to work but it does work indeed. I am glad for 7 bucks I can break free from att locked iphone 4.

@sapbwguru I have iPhone 4 Version 4.3.5 (8L1) Modem Firmware 4.10.01. My phone is not jailbroken but I was able to unlock it using Gevey Ultra. You should be able to unlock it without the jailbreak.
@javedar148 Hey buddy, thanks for sharing your views, as you're having the same configuration as mine ( iPhone 4 with 4.3.5 / 4.10.1 BB) not jailbreakon, I wonder why mine is throwing "invalid sim" error.
@sapbwguru I was having the same problem because my sim was not activated. I called T-Mobile gave them the sim number and got it activated first and after that I was able to unlock it.
@javedar148 : Hmmm , but my SIM is perfectly fine working in other handsets from Nokia...only its throwing invalid SIM error in iPhone4....Do you think I need to do anyother thing in my iPhone ?
@sapbwguru In my case I restored my phone to original factory configuration and followed the process in the video couple of times.
When you start your phone you will see Gevey black screen click "Accept" and then go to settings-->Phone-->Sim Application and click on English and accept the agreement again. As soon as you see a single bar dial 112 and disconnect it and turn on airplane mode right away. You have to do this process quickly to make it work

@sapbwguru I was basically talking about 112 screen but after accepting that you have to accept it also under settings then the process actually begins. You said that the same sim is working on the other phone. The other phone is also iPhone? If not then did you cut the sim? If you did then you damaged the sim. I made the same mistake and then I went to T-Mobile store paid $10 for micro sim and called customer service and activated it.
@javedar148 Aha ,I guess so far everything is working fine but as you've mentioned I did CUT the SIM at a local mobile store here and its kindda loose and its not that firm in the SIM holder tray, I think may be that's the problem.
The other phone is Nokia where the sim is working with the SIM adapter because I cut this SIM for my iPhone.
I'll first try with my friends Micro SIM he's on T-mobile too, if it works fine then I'll also buy MIcro SIM...I think my sim got damaged while cutting.

I just bought the Gevey ultra, I didnt have the software installed from furiousmod when I added my new sim. A message comes up saying that this sim is not supported. now my phone is locked at the set up mode and I cant get back to the internet on it, where I need to download the furiousmod software. Can I start over, if yes how?
well that's better and I understand were only human being no one's perfect.But I guess it wont solve my problem because of the latest baseband that I have.Gevey is a great help for us and I'm really thankful for those people who made this possible.
@copico666 we have different basebands I have 04.11.08 and you have 04.10.1 and I know it will work on you,just have to wait for the next update of the gevey sim.
@copico666 and as you mentioned your phone is unlock,so why do you need to use the gevey sim?it's use only for locked phones so that you can use it with different carrier.

Hey so I bought a gevey and unlocked my phone, but every time i try to use my sim without the gevey it doesn't work. Do i have to keep the gevey in at all times???? Am I doing something wrong? Help please

i've got an iphone 4 bb 3.10.01.. gevey ultra does not work on me amd i've got those errors you exposed on the video. . there is no untethered jb for ios5 till now,so i'm moving back to 4.3.3??

@sapbwguru I have iPhone 4 Version 4.3.5 (8L1) Modem Firmware 4.10.01. My phone is not jailbroken but I was able to unlock it using Gevey Ultra. You should be able to unlock it without the jailbreak.

@sapbwguru I was having the same problem because my sim was not activated. I called T-Mobile gave them the sim number and got it activated first and after that I was able to unlock it.

@javedar148 : Hmmm , but my SIM is perfectly fine working in other handsets from Nokia...only its throwing invalid SIM error in iPhone4....Do you think I need to do anyother thing in my iPhone ?

@sapbwguru In my case I restored my phone to original factory configuration and followed the process in the video couple of times.
When you start your phone you will see Gevey black screen click "Accept" and then go to settings-->Phone-->Sim Application and click on English and accept the agreement again. As soon as you see a single bar dial 112 and disconnect it and turn on airplane mode right away. You have to do this process quickly to make it work

While follow what you've written,
after powering on my iPhone, I'm not getting "Gevey Black Screen" where you press accept, I'm getting directly the other screen where it says to press 112 and dial ...I wonder why ??
I followed these steps still same "invalid sim" error..may be the Gevey Ultra sim is not working ?

@sapbwguru I was basically talking about 112 screen but after accepting that you have to accept it also under settings then the process actually begins. You said that the same sim is working on the other phone. The other phone is also iPhone? If not then did you cut the sim? If you did then you damaged the sim. I made the same mistake and then I went to T-Mobile store paid $10 for micro sim and called customer service and activated it.

@javedar148 Aha ,I guess so far everything is working fine but as you've mentioned I did CUT the SIM at a local mobile store here and its kindda loose and its not that firm in the SIM holder tray, I think may be that's the problem.
The other phone is Nokia where the sim is working with the SIM adapter because I cut this SIM for my iPhone.
I'll first try with my friends Micro SIM he's on T-mobile too, if it works fine then I'll also buy MIcro SIM...I think my sim got damaged while cutting.

You were right my SIM was damaged because I cut the sim, anyway thought would share with you and thanks for all your help I really appreciate it.

I just bought the Gevey ultra, I didnt have the software installed from furiousmod when I added my new sim. A message comes up saying that this sim is not supported. now my phone is locked at the set up mode and I cant get back to the internet on it, where I need to download the furiousmod software. Can I start over, if yes how?

just insert gevey, turn on, you'll see the instruction, and it works perfect on iOS 5

@copico666 we have different basebands I have 04.11.08 and you have 04.10.1 and I know it will work on you,just have to wait for the next update of the gevey sim.
