*** this is theyoyoman888, its one of my other channels, sorry i haven't been on in forever i lost my password. for everyone making comments about yoyos better than those I've mentioned, well, your probably right. mind this was made 2 years ago. I haven't been doing too much yoyoing lately either, sorry everyone. if you don't believe its me, well, oh well, :P
Im new to yoyoing. Getting a duncan bumble bee. is that good for beginners. i am also getting another yoyo but i dont no what it is. I just know my mums getting me one :P
ok this is gonna be a little weird but bear with me
I want a YoYo, that has a very good long sleeper on it and I do need it to last quite a while lets say maybe a minute or more?, has to be butterfly shaped or V shaped if you look at it in a certain angle, but also needs to come back up to my hand with a simple tug of the string. Is there such a YoYo? And what would you recommend?
I have a Peter Fish yoyo Luminator, it's actually quite decent but I need a longer sleeper
can i just go to like dollar general or walmart or something like that for a somewhat good beginner yoyo?i live by a marsh/walmart/dollar general/and......that's pretty much it.oh yeah/also target/and toys r us.
1. unscrew the yoyo a little, although this probably wont work because typical duncan butterflys are fixed axle, but give it a try.
2. find out what the response system is. if there are pads on either side of the bearing, take ONE out. if the reponse system is moulded, try grinding it down a little (this could ruin the yoyo, so be careful)
A duncan butterfly is a FIXED AXLE yoyo... Widening the gap/adjusting the "response system" is not applicable advice. For one, the Axle is something that if you mess with it, you will ruin that yoyo. and the response system is a starburst, so you cannot make any real adjustments to it.
The best advice that could be given (in regards to spin time issues) is Buy A New Yoyo (trans axle or bearing)
@theyoyoman888@emoman7777 f that isn't an option, try poly strings, or try to wax your fixed axel. The poly strings would likely do more in this case. Most butterflys come with a full cotton string(8's i believe) Purchasing a thinner size 6 string and going all poly will give you a little bit longer spins on an old school duncan like yours hope that helps (I realize it is a year old comment):)
@JasonFilms14 well, i can see with a firedog being $4.99 its nice and cheap but good quality because it's yoyofactory, and yeah go for it buy it, IF you're going to start looping, but if you wanna do string tricks and still want a cheap yoyofactory get a F.A.S.T. 201, just $9.99 and great for starting. depends on what you want to do. just ask me if you want me to explain string and looping more in depth.
The YoYoFactory PGM (Plastic Grind Machine) (with hubstacks) in it's newest version is really good for long sleeping tricks and hubstack-needed tricks. I got mine for £12!
@paulbrian808 of course. there are yoyos specialized for string tricks, or yoyos specialized for looping tricks. but there are hybrids average in each that will loop and string. i would say an Aerospin because i have personal experience with them and theyre great at about $20
ok well i want to get a yoyo, im not sure what to pick because i use a diabolo, which is kindof like a yoyo and i had a toy yoyo when i was younger and i was able to get it in sleep and back up again so id like to know which one i should get based on my experiences
Im looking for a yoyo that's great for string tricks and long sleep time. Also it would be nice if the yoyo is durable and comfortable. Any suggestions ?

hha i am basicaly buying my first yoyo however i am quite skilled in yoyoing as i got my first (and best) yoyo from my friend for free, in exchange for a lockerz account. But i was trying counterweight and i let go by accident and it went flying into the fire and now its pretty f*cked :)
ahahaha yess i know how that goes fer sure...for freehand try getting a duncan metal zero. full body aluminum. if it goes flying, it wont get fucked. it will fuck what ever is in its path LOL

@emoman7777
theres 2 things you can try:

2. find out what the response system is. if there are pads on either side of the bearing, take ONE out. if the reponse system is moulded, try grinding it down a little (this could ruin the yoyo, so be careful)
