Every generation (I'm talking about a generation lasting several hundred years) goes through periods where they think the end is imminent. Hurricanes, tsunamis, etc. like they've never seen before...that's nothing new. Mother Earth will cleanse herself every so often. If we're lucky we have 80 years. The end is imminent for all of us, young and old in our due time. Everyday people die tragically and meet their maker. Does it mean our Mother Earth dies? I think not....

One mistake that people make is completely shutting out certain ideas or people just because they have a particular belief that is different from theirs. For instance, just because we know that religion itself is just made up, man-made stories & in it's entirety is bullshit, that doesn't mean that we shouldn't listen to what they have to say because they may have a piece to the puzzle that we all have to work together to figure out. I would rather be alive though:) But i am curious as to why you are so certain of this? You must be a young man I'd like to see how you feel when your a little older or on your death bed. I am religious I'm a Christian so I have very strong feeling about this issue. @td386steel i almost died from dengue spent 3 months in the hospital, someone tried to drown me when i was a kid... got swept out to sea while bodyboarding in a storm, had a gun put to my head when i was mugged... so yes i have had few near death experiences, she is but my friend now that likes to pop up and say hello now and again. as a religious man you should know that death is just the begining, isnt that why you invented heaven and hell? or is that a lie? ---

The world is so complex today with layers of strange happenings. Though "we" are talking to each other globally in ways unimaginable 20 years ago, person to person, continent to continent, even cross language, "we" humans for the most part are unaware of most of the terrible events. We see everything through layers of filters. Humanity is moving forward towards a day when our tipping point arrives. The collapse of the planet and the extinction of humans on earth is now a looming possibility.
