if your hook is down a fishes throat its best to just cut your line as close as you can and release the fish with the hook. the natural acids in the fish will help the hook to deteriorate quickly and most fish hooks are designed to deteriorate in water at a rapid rate

fish dont get sick from swallowing hooks.. they digest it really easily with there rlly strong matabilism
