"The aromatic terpenoids begin to vaporize at 126°C, but the more bio-active cannabidiol (CBD), Cannabinol (CBN), and delta-9-tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) do not vaporize until near their respective flash points: CBD 206.3°C, CBN 212.7°C, and THC 149.3°C" - Wikipedia
So set yours 215C if you want the CBD & CBN to vaporize as well. 212C = 413F
If that's true, then you have either NEVER used an Extreme Q or somehow represent the manufacturer. There is no comparison to SSV which is NOT digital, runs way too hot for clean vapor, and the construction is totally cheap when you stand the two side by side. I don't believe that any honest person would even think they compare if they've used them both. The Extreme Q is a WAY BETTER unit; so is the v-tower.
I honestly like this BETTER than the volcano. I've tried both several times, and this, for whatever reason, is by far the superior machine in my book. To each their own. Now to try that Zephyr!
@VaporizersDirect Definitely The Zephyr Ion Is A VERY Good Alternative To The Volcano! Theres A Dispensary In San Jose With 3 Onsite Zephyrs, Thats Where I Discovered It. Now Im Gonna Get One For Myself For Sure!
If you've ever owned the unit, you could probably spell this feature. It's awesome to have the aromatherapy dish especially directly after vaporizing.
i have the ex. and it works great! i went to the vaporroom over the weekend. there they only use volcanos, and the volcanos are absolutely the best for bags. 1 bowl got us 6 or 7 big bags. but for the whip method i'd have to say the EX. is the best. IMO
I'd love to weigh in here: We sell this unit primarily to retailers, and have a fairly intimate relationship with many of them. We get almost NO complaints about glass parts, and everyone that works here uses theirs daily - again with no problems. I will admit that in a clumsy moment I dropped a glass elbow onto a tile floor (and it broke!), but that's my fault - glass isn't meant to be dropped! -Troy
i recently picked up one of these vapes, and it works good, bags are slow but thats about it.
i had an issue with one of the glass elbows, i was trying to take it off the hose to clean it and i pulled it apart, has this happend to anyone ? like the skinny peace that fits in the hose just pulled off from the other glass part.
