i've only rode a stand up jetski once, as a kid my Dad swapped skis with me when the ocean was flat and let me just ride it to get the hang of it. I was so much smaller then, but hell from the expereince I had it's nothing compared to a sitdown, so hard.
Dude lower your centre of gravity - You'd be much quicker. Bend your knee's and relax, then open her up and either leg drag the corners or use your butt. You should be able to ride with the pole almost resting on the hood.
no shit, hes obiously a beginner. Its good to see more kids practicing---and speaking of, if you dont ride with people a lot, sometimes its good to train in your helmet. And ryno---get into a race and then you can talk about hardcore "skiing" what ever the hell that is.
Why is it that some skiers think they look like a pro wearing helmets on the Columbia River. I Have skied for 15 years and on my 800SXR for three and have never felt the need for a helmet. Is there logs or ice chunks in the water? These guys have tourette's or somethin'?
Not dissing sit downs, but stand ups are a tad more dangerous than sit downs. They tend to be faster, and more reactive in steering, so they could easily fall over the handlebars or have that jetski make a u turn for their face.
Ur dumb. Slow sit downs are faster than most stand ups. Sit downs have better control. Stand ups are obviously more difficult than sit downs, but are no more dangerous. They wear helmets because they race (helmets required), and wearing helmets during practice helps prepare them for races. Please don't comment on any more videos; you are making everyone that reads your stupidity dumber.

Good question. I was not the only one riding this course. There were 3 of us and all of wore helmets that day. No ice, some logs and a few squids!
Nice ocean clip, would love to ride the surf someday...
