@BMWLDRider Thanks, I do have a more recently recorded rendition of this somewhere on my channel where ( I hope ) I have ironed out some of the rough edges a bit.
Nicely done my friend.....absolutely nothing wrong with the vocals...and nice picking only minor criticism the alternating bass is drowning out the higher strings (but to be honest I have similar trouble with my stuff) something to do with the compression that youtube adds I believe but really well done...Kev
@electricragtime Thankyou, I recorded this quite a while ago so I've arranged it a lot more now, in fact I'm tempted to put an updated version up. The bass string can be a nightmare, I did a recording of it recently and had to turn the bass right down. I should just get a decent camera really, although I say that every time...
Thankyou! Hmmm tuning, I think it was DAAEAE, it was a tuning Dick Gaughan used in his "51st Highland Division Farewell to Sicily" arrangement which I loved at the time ( and still do! ). Quite a strange tuning on paper, but sounds great when you play it, I was just messing around and somehow managed to work this cover around it.
Good job.....easy on the bass.

Great rendition man! What tuning are you using? I realize you're capoed up one fret, but what tuning before the capo?
