  • i am overweight what type of bike should i get???????

  • @cherd1971 a stationary bike

  • Such a pro

  • So what is the proper sequence, adjust the saddle height first using the Goniometer and then use the plumb line the adjust the saddle forward/backward or vice versa?

  • i am 5'7 and weigh 150 what kind of road bike would be good for me??

  • @DV8hc its not JUST your height...not all people are perfectly proportionate..has to do with ground to crotch, ground to hips, and armspan, and all other kinds of stuff. im not an expert so i dont want to give you bogus advice, but its way more than just height.

  • The video is nice. But what about how to fit the seat height.

  • @dainosor90 and the handle bar reach it all works together why do half a job?this video was not correct who has there bars up like that?

  • Thank you... it's really surprising how micro these adjustments are when you are putting on miles and climbing... I think I've almost got it dialed in.

  • Thanks,

F.Y.I. I just put up Bike Fitting 102. You might enjoy that also.

  • This is just poor advice.

There is no relevance to KOP. Your fore/aft should balance you on the bike. For me that is 2 cm behind KOP.

Keith Bontrager wrote an article that is on Harris Cyclery from the legendary Sheldon Brown on The Myth of "Kops".An Alternative Method of Bike Fit.

When I get a bike, I fit myself over time until I find my optimal comfort position. I've never found any use of having it done. Your body tells you what it wants.

  • what is tha behind back of will in the grund

  • Speak up man

  • Most helpful! Thanks.

Most likely, his cleat is forcing his foot to point either inward or outward. Remove the cleat from his shoe, and put 3 layers of duct tape over the bottom of the shoe where the cleat would normally be, and let him ride around a little bit. Where the indentation is left, is where the cleat best fits. Easiest way to find fit on SPD pedals.

  • What a great video. Thanks. Really simple and helpful.
