Everyone in the video uses California style as their foundation. No one uses NY style like the poppers from the vintage 84-86 NYC breakers for example. Interesting. It seems that every country now uses California style as their foundation.

I haven't seen such skilled guys since Michael Cain 1986 from Senn high school over by Bryn Mawr and Peterson. He had the 3-D tick that no one in the city could mess with except Hutch and Daddy-O from the Jesse White Dance Team and tumbling team. Back then Japan had no poppers and look at them in the footage above: friggin' awesome!!! And the Americans? Amazing!!! It takes me so far back in time. @debbiecakezify poppin world have 3 poppin style.. Korean Poppin Style.. UK Poppin style.. USA Poppin style.. korean have a so big power for every poppin move.. but not at all poppin move need a power.. they need a flexiblity too.. UK is always make a Poppin original move by themself so they had a nice blow up at a battle.. USA have a power ( not much more than korean ) but their first thing for variation is a basic variation.. so they have a strong basic.. my style is UK.. How about you? :)

@425Marcel yo, you need to realize that this was a while back bro. plus, these guys like to keep it old school. thats the point, it's straight POPPING. tutting was just being recognized as a form of popping and locking was seperated from popping a while ago. waving was also getting popular at the time. I don't know. The Japanese moves are insane, but they don't fit the rhythm of the music. The USA is more understated, but they're actually trying to keep time with the beat. I guess if this is a gymnastics competition, the Japanese won.
