The MPC-5000 ships with 52 known bugs. At least 3 of them will crash the machine. An update is available but the customer is not informed of this or that the machine will be useless when they buy it for $2500.

It laid 'em off, thanks to FL studio I bought 3 mpcs off of ebay for cheap, 60, 3000 and 2000,

FL kicks their ass, but I love their groove.

Theres no way you can re-create the swing and feel you get from a MPC in FL Studio. To each his own...this unit seems way overpriced though no doubt.

That synth is junk, there are so many more things they should have added before that. Akai needs to spend some bucks on fixing what they are already making instead of more new overpriced eye candy. Hell, id take one for free though :) But id probably sell it.
