  • hey, this is Awesome music remix, guy. Any chance you could post just the beats and intrumentals for this without the the words? or maybe a link to the mp3 of it?

the intro heading into the beginning is insanely nice!

  • "enemies come sleep with me for breakfast/ guaranteed to eat this toast/ im reckless/ firestarter that'll heat your folks/a starving artist that'll eat your trash/so dont bring him around/i be around ricans/vida loca they got all the toasters/dont need no gats/i got a sick stash/leave em around so i dont get left around/ haters around when i leave"

  • nice job dude. this remix is amazing.

  • Very clean beat. Not overly-complicated, it just gets the vibe out there and doesn't have any unnecessary aspects. Great work as always.

  • Another nice one Elbe. I see your using the mpc.

I got a question for you: I've played the piano now for about 10 years and mess been messing around with Midi via Albeton Live for a few months.

I wanted to get into sampling for fun and was wondering how long it took you to get the hang of the mpc.

Also, I was wondering on your thoughts on the Rowland SP line.

    I

  • I just want to take a few sounds once in a while. btw, im not really into software sampling, it doesnt work for me.

Thoughts? Sorry for the long post, and again, another great beat.

  • sup man? glad u liked the beat.

ive had the mpc for about 2 months now, but i dont know shit with it. i can program all the drums and whatnot, but lots of the sample chopping was done in adobe audition, its just easier for me. so yeah it really depends i guess

  • seoul chopping in the MPC is mad easy

  • lol im still learning man

  • remember to keep your chops in MONO not Poly so they cut off after you edit them to what you want

  • yeah i got you.

the problem with this track was the sample wasnt even so i had to do a lot of time compression and fade ins to make it smoother, didnt feel like learning that for the mpc for the time being ya know? but thanks for the advice

  • yeah that's that lamont dozier sample alchemist flipped for "desire" right?

either way, nice remix. like the drum programming.

  • and yes it was used in desire.. i like that song but i felt like the sample was kinda awkward in it so i decided to pull my own flip. thanks bro

  • not enough words to describe how good this is bro, i loved the original, i love your remix more...there a place i could download it?

  • ha thanks man, just gimme ur email and ill send u the mp3
