  • This is a simple clear way that shows the massive inequality- this is totally stupid as it's totally unnecessary that only some are supported while so many suffer. We can all have dignified lives, and no longer be slaving for a few at the top of the pyramid- that's why I support Equal Money!

  • We have all the facts available, that show us how fucked up and abusive our world system is. When will we stop talking about changing the world, and actually DO it? Now is the chance! join the equal money movement!

  • How can it be that we allow so much inequality and abuse? Do we really think it's normal that some have it all and the majority has nothing? This is unacceptable and unnecessary when real practical solutions are here. These solutions only need your vote and support. Vote for world equality and an equal money system.

  • After seeing such figures, one must certainly start questioning our reality and how we can stop this abuse. I am one vote for an Equal Money System as figures such as this show it's time we need an drastic change!

  • @ReginaldDiepenhorst "Equal Money System"? I think we can do a bit better than that. How about a "No money system"?

Ever heard of the Zeitgeist Movement? Check out Zeitgeist Moving forwards.

  • @Soteir Going from Money to 'No-Money' directly will result in chaos and anarchie. As we used money to function as our measurement tool and is used by all in this world. The Equal Money System is an interim solution where one is able to live anew and develop oneself with the basics to live in a way that honours life and not money/capital. A 'no money system' means that one already has developed his sense of self-responsibility to perfection, which is not so.

  • I would love to see this in HD, with a writeup that more thoroughly cites the sources. It is one of the best economic visualizations I've found, and I'm going to show it to my university students tomorrow. It deserves a bit of editing and a higher profile. Thanks for posting it.

  • 60,000 a year in many countries, you would live pretty well...and vice versa...the value of money differs depending where your from... messed up

  • So, we live on top place....but still, life is not easy....goodplaceville is not such goodplace to live coz everything is expensive there. It is relative...

  • Yeah that top 1% sure has it tough...

  • Let's line the beautiful , deserving souls pockets with lotsa green & LOVE♥Paula xo

  • Well done. Way to use graphics to show something that, simply stated numerically, is hard to grasp.

  • @ed4wb Exactly.

  • Thanks!

  • Gee! I never knew that I was "rich"... All of us in the western, or "1st world", countries should give a little each month to guarantee that NO ONE needs to go hungry or drink impure water. Thanks for posting this video, it's pretty cool!

  • Why?

  • For no other reason than it is the right thing to do. Whether a religious or an atheist I think that if YOU were hungry and had no clean water you wish that someone who was able might help you. Before you tell me about how you "earned" your place in society just ask yourself... "What if I was born in a small village in Rwanda?" You were born where you were born out of luck. Nothing more, nothing less. Kind of like winning the lottery...

  • I don't think Chavez would enjoy you giving him money so that his people can drink clean water.

And it's not really considered 'first world', we're known as 'industrialized' nations. :)
