@TheSnk1001 No, it is a new system introduced in this collection. Basically, it transfers the save from a PS3 game ported from PSP, to the PSP (Let's remember that Peace Walker isn't the only game from PSP that is going to come out in PS3), that way you can use your save in both versions of the game. Of course, you can then transfer it back to PS3 and keep playing with the updated graphics and features.
@TheSnk1001 That is stupid, why hate that it is on 360? At least that way they will be able to play a true game (Or 3, in this case). Also, we get that special feature in PS3 called "Transfarring", which allows to copy saves from PSP to PS3 or from PS3 to PSP, and that way we can keep playing even when we can't use our PS3.

@Xxandrew01 It's not that it was shitty so much as it suffered from the addition of MGS2 mechanics to the original game. Silicon Knights should have either kept it true to the original MGS gameplay or done more to modify the level design to accommodate for features added to MGS2. As it is, not much was done to change the actual Shadow Moses facilities from its original form.

MGS2 is the best game ever and Solidus my favorite character of the saga. I really hoped that he was not dead until the end of MGS4... One of my favorite songs from my favorite game, MGS2, which is my first Metal gear game I actually played. The plot of the game was just genius, all the twist and turns, and how you slowly start to find out Raiden's terrible past, then at the end fight the person who made your life horrible. This game is just over all amazing to me. Hideo Kojima you are awesome!
If only they'd realised earlier that it would have been better to stop fighting and team up with Solidus to destroy the patriots, he wasn't even a bad guy, he was good when you think! haha
@SolidEva I always figured that Raiden decided to kill Solidus for killing his parents and making him a child soldier. And to get the AI Colonel and Rose to shut the hell up.
Solidus was working towards the greater good though, he just wanted to free people from what he knew the patriots would eventually become. And he was right about what they'd become, they should have just helped him get rid of them. Raiden was working for them without knowing afterall.
Yeah I agree actually, he was pretty much in the gray, the only thing keeping him from being bad is that his overall cause is to free everyone from being controlled.
maybe not "evil", but the methods he employed in his campaign against the Patriots, not to mention the bullshit he put Raiden through, were horrific and unforgivable to say the least.

@kluang1 I think he would side with Ocelot first , since Ocelot is leading the game , but he would have his own plan to take control and cast Ocelot aside later .
PS: Solidus was alive in MGS 4 he was in the body bag of Big Boss , but I got what you ment ^^

@SparkX61 There's a lot or rumours about an "MGS collection" with MGS2 and 3 on a blu ray,nothing has been confirmed but I m pretty sure that soon it will be: GOW collection got a huge success so I think they won't miss an opportunity to make some money ;) (sorry for my english i'm french)

MGS2 is the best game ever and Solidus my favorite character of the saga. I really hoped that he was not dead until the end of MGS4... They should bring him back to life instead of big boss he would be more usefull to cut gekkos lol (I still have the hope to see him in mgs rising as a ghost in Raiden's head ^^ )

One of my favorite songs from my favorite game, MGS2, which is my first Metal gear game I actually played. The plot of the game was just genius, all the twist and turns, and how you slowly start to find out Raiden's terrible past, then at the end fight the person who made your life horrible. This game is just over all amazing to me. Hideo Kojima you are awesome!

Solidus was working towards the greater good though, he just wanted to free people from what he knew the patriots would eventually become. And he was right about what they'd become, they should have just helped him get rid of them. Raiden was working for them without knowing afterall.

But I totally see where you are coming from, I think he kinda lost it if you know what I mean. He did some radical unforgivable things but he seem them as beneficial to his final cause
