Metroid Prime 2 was the hardest in the series atleast i thought so right at the begining after you lost your gear you would face very strong enemies and the dark world you lost vast amount of health and the light suit are the coolest suit ever made.

@boyoftrick90 Tell me about it, I still cannot defeat the last boss in that game in the Hypermode difficulty level. It's the last thing I have to do so I can say I finished MP2 at 100%.... and start MP3.

@Serpoo when you beat Metroid Prime in the first game he grab your suit and you revert back to gravity suit and if you clear the game fast with 100% a special cutscene is revealed with a pool of Phazoon and in it a arm comes out that looks like the Phazoon suit with an eyeball in the back of its hand and thats how Dark Samus is born.

There's 3 things I'd like to say:

1.-Nintendo should give RS the Metroid license back after the Other M debacle NT caused.

2.-Nintendo should allow RS to at leas collaborate in the upcoming TLoZ for WiiU.

3.-Since Retro has talent for reviving dying franchises (Metroid was dead for the whole N64 era, Donkey Kong for half GameCube's and half Wii's.) they should have them work on the least popular franchises too.

The Prime Trilogy was such an incredible series. Here's hoping Nintendo will let Retro go wild with Metroid V. Retro seems to have a better understanding of the series than Nintendo itself.

I was of the understanding that the 360 and PS3 were both capable of 1080p. However, if I do still stand corrected and the Wii-U is noticeably more powerful than either machine, then I certainly do hope retro give us another Prime game.

I still play MP1 and its still a beautiful game to behold. Whatever comes next can only look bloody amazing...

its interesting tho in Metroid 2 all the metroids are destroyed which means what can be done? its open ended yes but the title enemy is kinda gone, also it may rain hellfire on me for this but samus does not need to be "soldier-ified". Grenades, CQC, etc can stay where they and be content.

i think the follow up to other M for the wii should be made by retro studios, instead of team ninja. i thought the gameplay for other M was great in many respects, but the narrative/storyline was slightly disappointing.

i also agree with those who say samus needs more weapons, not just the arm cannon that she already has, such as grenades for example.

Samus needs a malee attack. master chief has the plasma sword, in call of duty you can use a knife, in metroid you should be able to use some kind of blade, metal or light saberish, that you can use in battle.

they say its up to the fan,i think a prime 4 would be aaaaaaawesome.... metroid prime is too awesome to jsut let it be done like that. the ending of prime 3 was a little too secretive... i mean, the spaceship following her? that should be a prelude to a forth one :) and maybe it could take place after the most recent metroid? i think that would be fusion. cuz the story after fusion has not been continued at all, i think its high time a story followed it!

Here is my opinon: I think that they should make another Metroid Prime game. Although if it is going to be as bade as Metroid Prime 3 was then they should just throw in the towel now. I do not like the fact that in Metroid Prime 3 it was so guided! It was too easy! There was too much story. It was not an adventure. It was a shooter. Metroid is supposed to be an adventure game, not a shooter game.

@Wolfiethree well your right that metroid prime is more linear but you know it is not really all that linear and one could go about the game in any way they want. i am able to beat prime without sequence jumps in about 4 hours or less because of how unlinear the game is. There are so many ways one could go about to beating prime that it could not be considered to linear. Metroid prime 3, fusion, and zero mision are way more linear than prime. If you think prime is linear play it more.
