  • does this fit well for gtx550ti by palit

  • I installed the Accelero L2 Pro too. The temperature hits 69°C. The noise level is very silent.

Nonetheless in my opinion it is too hot. I think the mainproblem with the GPU Cooler is the Airflow of the case. If I ll find a way to dissipate the hot air out of the case, it will be fantastic.

  • OK. I just installed Arctic cooling accelero l2 pro on my Powercolor HD5770 1GB. All spacers, tapes etc. are gone and still the temperature is horrible. When furmarking my card. the remp reach 80 C! In idle the temp is about 40 C. The fan speed is 100% and the alluminium block is stil incredibly hot! So I think this cooler is not enough for HD5770. I am disapointed now:(

  • and if u run 2x

  • this one or the zalman VF900-CU one?

  • nice music, better than the typical god awefull techno

  • Maybe its my case, but my Saphire 5770 is virtually inaudable at idle whilst using MSI Afterburner to control fan speeds. Yes whilst gaming its a banshee, but that's with speakers on and adrenalin running. I like your cooling option though, thanks.

  • wtf.. i have stock V2 cooler and i have over clocked heavy and max tamp is 40c..

i have done very good cable and cooling system but still.. strange.. i have XFX btw..

  • i read that Arctic Cooling Accelero L2 comes with thermal paste on it , is that true ?

  • i might put one on my xfx hd 5770 1gb a twin turbo seem overkill for a 5770 ...

  • MrSmutje75 does the cooler require the 3pin connector to be connected. Please give a response quick as im thinking of buying those adapters.

  • Heey i have a L2 Pro and a xfx radeon hd 5770 and how Shal i conect the cabels to get it working please help

  • How much overclocked? And do you think this will beat Sapphire (not toxic, just reference) cooler?

  • ya my HD3850 got 105*C on stock once...

  • with the power adapter thing does anything from the card need to be plugged into the video card itsself because i just got one and the lil power connectors have no where on the video card to go i know it needs to be powered through the motherboard with the little adapter thing that comes with it but is it supposed to be able to plug into my video card as well?

  • WTF? 0:06 ASUS may not be a bad cooler is small and ugly

  • Mhmmm, What are the cooling differences to the normal 5770 cooler? On my 5770 xxx edition it runs at about 40*C on desktop but on games about 60-81*C O.O

What is it like with you're cooler? Thanks :D

  • I really hate coolers on new graphics cards. I was lucky when I bought radeon 4770 cyclone with heatpipes. So I have only 54 degrees max and no noise.

  • how does the fan connect to the power supply? or does it connect to the mother board

  • i think that every should get rid of there stock fan mine gets HOT

  • I've heard something about this fan is 7V and on the card we got only 5 so we have to combine a 12V and 5V to get the 7V for the fan. Is it true ?

  • Ok I gonna save up money for that heatsink And I have Sapphire Radeon HD 5770 Vapor-X And I overvloted it from 1.125 to 1.237 volts and I overclocked the core from 860Mhz to 930Mhz and I overclocked the memory from 1200Mhx to 1300Mhz and the fan at 70% using MSI Afterburner overclocking utility and it was stable at like idle 30c-35c and max load at like 55c-65c. But now that summer came the card is now at idle 53c and max load is like 80c-90c and my games are glitching and crashing sometimes.

  • I just installed two of these on my crossfired 5770's and I'm getting slightly higher temps. I have no idea what i did wrong

  • @Kg363 I heard that you will get bad results if you buy 2 of these for crossfired cards. I think its because the top one is getting the heat that is coming from the bottom. I am getting one for my 5770 because summer came and now my card is at idle at 50c. and it goes up to 90c on full load when I play games.

  • @AdvancedGamer52439 Well i just wasted $50 lol

  • @Kg363 lol. I am wondering if it is worth crossfired 5770s because I have one and I can't afford to upgrade to a single 5870. But I can afford another 5770 once I get a new motherboard. is it double the performance? Id really like to know because if I keep one 5770 with that cooler I can't crossfire these because you got bad results and a lot of other people say that they got higher temps that stock. Or do you think I should wait even longer and get a 5870 with another better cooler.

  • @AdvancedGamer52439 CF 5770's are 1.5-1.8x the performance and generally are just below the 5770. It is a much cheaper upgrade and well worth it.

  • @Kg363 So you are saying that I'd be better off with upgrading to a 5870?

  • @AdvancedGamer52439 no, the second 5770 would be more worth it economically

  • @Kg363 Thanks man. What temps were your cards at before you got new coolers? I want to know because mine went to 81c yesterday. My case is aluminum and when I play games my case becomes too hot to touch lol. I heard that the 5770 goes up to 100 degrees and if it goes to 110 it would burn out. is that true? The maybe I am overreacting that my games are acting funny. what is your highest temps you experienced without games crashing?

  • @AdvancedGamer52439 81c is about the highest i've gone. I normally max out in games in the mid 70's and my cards have a cheaper version of reference so they are hotter than most. I went over 100c with the accelero's on though

  • @Kg363 Well I think I won't waist $20 I heard that 100c exposes weakness but I mostly go on mid 80s and rarely 90s so if it doesn't crash on 100 I think I don't need to get a new cooler thanks again.

  • @Kg363 oh yeah I also fixed the crashing and glitching on my games.

  • will i t fit on a HD4850..

    Sapphire HD4850 single slot version..

  • i hate stock fan on my EAH4850. how about full load temp when you use 12v ?

  • @Kambardney it should perform well on that card. But i would recommend only 7V ...12 V should be to lout for my personal feeling (silent freak).

  • @MrSmutje75 i'm worry about the temp too. i adjust fan's speed 100% and idle@60c. if an Arctic has idle lower than stock i'll interest it.

sorry for my English skill :P

  • @MrSmutje75 whats the max temperature u get on full and on idle?

  • @MrSmutje75 about premium heatsinks... i had a coolermaster hyper 212 on my i5 2500k and it said it was running at 98c. i dont know if it was on correctly or not because it is difficult to put those dame things in the hole. do you think it would have regulated one the thermal grease warmed up? also i have a gt 440 and was planning on getting this same heatsink. do you recommend? and have you oc'd ur gpu yet?

  • @S3cK5hun8 deffo did something wrong if it was hitting those temps mate, try reseating

i personally wouldn't bother buying a heatsink for a low end card, just pick up a much more powerful 8800GT on the cheap used or something mate. :)

  • @Kambardney 4850 can fit a Accelero S1 and cool it passively (no noise!)

  • @mentanxg ...sure you could use it

  • @mentanxg ...just stick them onto the Ram ... No rocket science needed :)

  • @mentanxg there's a thermal pad pre installed. No further Thermal Grease is needed. But be careful when open the cooler package that you do not harm the pad. Otherwise you'll have to replace it. I've replace it :)

  • @mentanxg it is a lot of better then the stock cooler. Even with 7V it's about 10 degrees cooler and absolut silent. For about 12 EUR you'll get super performance.
