  • hmmmmm i think some more research is required....

  • oh I get you. so it could be run on heating oil, veg oil etc

  • They DO run on any fuel. I have one myself & so does my brother & also my sister!

Any combustible easily injected fuel will run these engines. It's the compression/ignition principle, if you compress anything enough it will combust. Mine is usually run on a petrol/diesel mix but I sometimes put engine oil in too just to keep it all lubricated.

There are 3 pages of usable fuels in the user manual for these trucks - you should get one!

  • yes, I'm familiar with compression ignition engines, I know they can be run on veg oil etc, but how about gasoline?

  • on gas engines u can use e85 ethanol. BUT you its only on gm cars with flexfuel capabilities. its what people refer to as corn oil.

  • These are advertised with a "multifuel" engine.I am curious, how would you set it up to run on something other than diesel? the compression ratios would be totally different, as well as needing spark plugs

  • I doesn't matter i have researched these so much you just put what ever fuel you want. you can even mix fuels also and you can run it on peanut oil. well first do u know how a diesel works? The compression ratio is much higher for diesel compared yo gas so if you run it on diesel you can run it on any thing. that even applies to your diesel truck! (with some modifications) But any way these vehicles are a beast!
