I have this baby barn swallow. not very old. has some feathers. fell from the ceiling of our riding arena. I took it home and was giving it suet (sew-it) or however you spell it. haha. at the barn I gave it a beatle and he took it. that was at say 11:20am. this morning. now its 1:11pm. I tried to find some ants but its wayy to hot out and I couldn't find any. so i put some banana out to draw them in. How long until I need to feed it again?
@ratmaniac01 it should be fed every 15-20 minutes but If its a little older its ok to feed it every 30 minutes! I found a baby barn swallow at my barn to, I had it for three days then It died yesterday. =(
yes, she did survive. i only had her for about a month- then i brought her back to the barn i found her and (it took her a few times) but she eventually flew away
barn swallow need to be fed ATLEAST 8 times a day.. more if posible.. i start 7am and end 9 pm every day n have had them alive for 2 n 1/2 weeks
