My only problem with this album is that the vocals are mixed too high for my taste. Also there's the way the guitars seem to get quieter when the vocals come in. Other than that this is my second favorite Darkthrone next to Blaze in the Northern Sky.

@ExNihilMetal, not much, just choices of notes, chords and rhythms that stay with me, or at least merit additional listens in order to fully appreciate their complexity. I absolutely adore everything Darkthrone has ever done, but I listen to their newer material the most, probably because it reflects the kind of metal I enjoy listening to most; that is, 80s speed/thrash/black/death.
