@Tbolt1000TForLife I am tyring to be more "green" looking into future tech. But I def. own and love good ol american muscle cars with good ol' smoke belching V8's
@14omega28ok if you own a classic muscle car, you ain't a real greenie, they drive shitty priuses, in my opinion, fuck the environment, btw what kind do you have?
@manofweed1 yeah, its the amount the car is worth in materials. but classic and more desirable cars are worth more to sell to a collector or someone to restore it. so it wouldnt make sense for anyone to cash for clunkers a real classic car, just an 80s plymouth shit van. and the money was to contribute to getting a newer better car
@adfasdfasdfluy Hey man, that was a joke, you're car is tops, just glad my comment wasn't treated with the contempt it deserves, keep up the great work !!
for all the dumb asses just realizing there is no engine, you dont do a body rest. with an engine in. The fumes will eat away at the engine and kill it. They are a Rest. shop and not a car sales shop. They just take old beater bodies and restore them into refurbished bodies that sell for more.
@TheZimmerer As great as we think they were, the build quality during those muscle years actually wasn't that great. I owned a new 69 Camaro and a new 71 Cuda (not a hemi), and both had gaps and rattles and bad plastic. But I'd do it all over again in a heartbeat. Ah, to be able to feel and smell your engine again...those were the days!!
I've heard a lot of negative criticism about the billboard side graphics on the Cuda. I thought it was the ballsiest move Plymouth could have made, they are killer good looking.
Nice car but don't you think you shoulda waited until you had a motor and an interior in it before you did the video and let us hear it run instead of music??
if you're going to restore a car as special and rare as a '71 Hemi Cuda, painting it a color other than what is on the fender tag is not restoring it 100% correctly, and it also lessens the value since it isn't "as it left the factory". Thats what clone cars are for, so you can make it how you want.
You are 100% wrong shithead. You buy a car because it expresses who you are, you make it your own. All tghe number's matching faggots in this world are worried about 1 thing and 1 thing only: money. So what if it has as hemi in it, my 40 chevy has a 392 hemi in it. To restore a car is about bringing it back to life, not building it "according to a tag" Go back with Chip and Boyd, bitch.
You completely misinterpreted my post, Mr. Ignorant. The Definition of "Restore" is to "Put Back to Its Exact Original Condition as New". Yeah, people do "restore" cars and make them their way, but by definition it isn't restoring, it's fixing. So instead of degrading the value of a very Rare car, it makes more sense to make a clone the way you want it out of a lesser model. It's also about Preservation. Relax, you don't have to be so hostile just because my opinion differs from yours.
No see, it's shit heads like you that have totally fucked hotrodding in the ass. Youre just like chip and boyd, and all the other faggots. Take a step into the REAL world of hotrodding, not all the glam and sparkle of high-class.
@ChiliPepperMan28 you're obviously too ignorant to see the different types or car modding there is. I'm talking about a correct restoration, not a modified version made to look like one. There IS a difference. To some people it's an achievement that their car takes the Gold in a Concours judging. To others it doesn't matter. To each their own. A '32 Ford Highboy isn't the same as a Hemi Cuda. Its funny because you don't even realize I'm a female into cars, and I DO know what I'm talking about.
I don't give a flying fuck if youre a giraffe or a female. You have the same modern taste as the rest of the people that are ruining hotrodding. Real car people would NEVER worry about "taking the gold" in some stupid ass show, they live to drive their cars and enjoy them. Not give them 20 grand paintjobs, shove them in their trailers and let them sit in a climate-controlled garage.
@ChiliPepperMan28 lol, you don't know me, so you have no idea what my taste in cars is. When you assume stuff you just end up making an ass out of yourself. Anyway you obviously don't know the difference between preserving a rare car and making a clone to drive. It's people like you that make rare cars so valuable anyway. Preserve them, don't trash them and ruin them! So thanks for making my '71 GTO Judge Convertible even more rare and valuable than it already is, being 1 of 17 : )
@ChiliPepperMan28 very mature....you're right. Getting a matchin numbers 1970 Hemi Cuda, for example is silly....especially since you can auction them for anywhere from 150-200K....who would want that kind of money?
@SOFSoldier1 HEMI cars have gone WAY down in value. No where near 150 k anymore, they may be advertised for that price but are not bringing numbers close to that. The economy is terrible for muscle cars right now. And i youre into the cars for the money...youre not truly a car guy.
nice car but building them can hurt the wallet I know I'm thinking of having snowball on my licence plates cuz that seems to be whats happening lol or maybe pennyless
That's cool, just they are worth more when they look original, and almost all mopar muscle had the flat black stripes somewhere, road runners, cuda's, chargers, dusters etc. The owner really wants the og look.
now u u.s.a guys see why u should respect american msucle. where i life isnt those great cars here is only gay cars and only car what i like here ie bmw alpina b7 turpo al others sucks.. so i hope when im 18 i find plymouth barracuda and repair it!
exactly, i gotta stick with my 67 mustang till i can grow up and get a job, hopefully by then there'll still be a sublime green 17 hemicuda that i can afford
considering a 71 cuda with a hemi is one of the most valuable collector cars ever made, yeah 500k easy they have sold for over 2 million before, only 11 were made and 4 of those werent sold in america, unless you put a hemi in it and its not the original engine i guess
those 2m cars are prestine tho, top condition mint original. ive seen some cudas that year go for 50k, but its not a hemi, and not close to mint. i think i could settle for a 440 six pack in a challenger lol
but i live in aus and i saw a great american muscle car at night but i couldnt tell what it was
it had 4 headlights like a challenger (but it couldve also been a '71 cuda or charger) bu the tail lights were not across the whole back but only on the very corners of the trunk...
n they were kinda angled out away from the actual car a lil
Can you make a good living by retoring cars? Would it cost more than its worth or could you make a good living depending on what car you work on?If anyone could answere thanks in advance
Dumasses, saying this is a ricer or does that vinal add 50hp shit. No look serch 71 'cuda and LOOK it has that vinal thats what restoration means, making it look how it did back in its hayday. Wanna mark down this comment? Go right ahead Im just making a point

dont give!! up a buddy of mine just bought a 1970 cutlas 2 door and it had a 455,but there is lots of fun to be had with sbc or sbc, mopar,o ya he paid 500 bucks for the olds!! it does need work and has some issues, but we will have it screaming forthe price of the down payment on a dihasue !!! go mann!!!!!go!!!!
nice car. I am personally a challenger guy, but billboard cudas are very appealing. even just a 340. let alone a hemi. Painted grille would look really good. nice video
hoo r u 2 tell me? i appreciate them and i still spell it "kool"...i dont appreciate cars...HAH! u should c my and my pops project, '73 Datsun 240z, puttin a 383 stoker in it and liten it up as much as possible..

The motor was at the customer's garage. He only brought the shell of the car.

nice car. I am personally a challenger guy, but billboard cudas are very appealing. even just a 340. let alone a hemi. Painted grille would look really good. nice video

Not sure it was a good idea to flare the rear fenders on a Hemi 'cuda.....the car is too valuable to not keep 100% original, IMHO.
