The hip throw I thought was the funniest thing they tried to teach me just because of how unlikely it would be to set up and how unnecessarily fancy it was. to be a fighter has to be in different ctaegories. Fighting inside the ring is different because there are rules that restricts the fighter's moves.Seagal's art is very dangerous and knows no boundary. This art is not for SHOW purposes, this is for disabling your opponent as quick as possible.
If you are not a fighter....real & proper fighter...you will never understand it.

Seagal should stay out of the ufc because the ufc fans dont like him. You have to give him some credit though, he has had a lot of fun in his life with his early life in Japan, 7 kids and is worth around 25 million $, so he has not done bad for a guy with limited acting talent and don't forget he is nearly 60 years old lol.

He has amazing length, no one knows how to get inside without getting hit and he has tremendous athletic albility. But to say he would win against a prime or now silva is asinine. You gotta understand he does not have a high level of boxing. His reach is what is doing it in. He doesnt even have heavy hands. He has nice elbows and kicks.
