Some IIIc's have typically bad chrome plating. They were built right after the WWII and we should appreciate that they survived that time through and introduced IIIf and then M3 later.

A lot of postwar IIIc have bad chrome. Great 'shooters' and candidates for a black paint job. Cool camera.

what did u do. it looks like someone ran over ur leica with a truck then beat with an alluminum baseball bat.

@clondan1 Chrome was in short supply after WWII. Cameras like this have lovely character
