Nice video but id suggest maybe switching to a paper towel substrate. Its not as pretty no but much easier to clean and more hygenic. I have read of some snakes developing reactions and irritation to the sand as it gets caught between their scales, in their pits etc.
Nevermind I just saw you have Aspen haha, should have watched the video first. Good substrate but expensive once you have a few snakes! xD
