  • I'll move there. Seriously, i have to live in LA

  • Rock'N'Roll Dream City)

  • certainly seems like a good city to live in...i'm thinking about moving there in maybe 2 years..!

  • the palm trees are the best 4 me thats what la so fantastic but theres hollywood 2

  • @jaybooo123- That's weird. I read the most recent comment and I'm from Kentucky too! I want to move out there to pursue my career in Massage Therapy. I'm scared for the big change, but I've got to suck it up and just do it. I'm hoping before the end of the year I'll be out there.

  • @VShea07 Change can be good! Hope your move goes well.

  • @lostinthedark994 i live in Kentucky too i wanna move to California sooo bad but im scared aha

  • The only reason I like LA is because of the celebrities nothing else interstsme I think that Texas and Florida are so much better

  • nice. I will go there someday.

  • LOL the staples center is a store in canada.

  • I really really want to move there after college and finally start a career in the music industry. The only thing holding me back is the traffic and the smog. I could probably get used to the traffic, but the smog...is it really that bad? If someone could fill me in, that would be great!

  • @claudx13 Compared to the 1970s when LA truly became known for the smog, it's vastly improved. That said, some days are still better than others. It's true, in the summer, some days you can't see too far into the city; others, you can see clear across from Griffith Park straight to the ocean and even out to Catalina Island. But it all comes down to pros and cons. For us, the 80 degree January days make it all worthwhile.

  • @ThePartnersTrust Okay, thank you!

  • @ThePartnersTrust But, there is no balance in weather; you have constant heat ALL THE TIME! In the summers, it must get brutal. Sure, it would be great the first couple of years living there, but then it would become annoying. Also, aren't a shit tonne of Mexicans annoying? LA too me looks to spread out and expansive; it seems as though that no one took the time to work the little details out when LA was being expanded and built out.

  • @WhiteSugarFive It's in the high 50s/low 60s and usually rainy this time of year, which is mild. And depending on where in LA you live, your summer temps can be very different: on the coast, it rarely hits 90 all summer. If you live in the Valley, it can be in the 100s frequently. LA is spread out but each neighborhood has a lot to offer so you don't have to go far to get what you need. And we have plenty of different ethnicities here, making it vibrant, not annoying.

  • @claudx13 LA is horrible. If you want to live in Cali, San Diego or Francisco is best...But id take France or italy over Cali anyday if you want real history, culture and beauty

  • @will101page We'd never say a bad thing about SD or SF: both are fantastic communities with plenty to offer. LA has plenty to offer, in different forms and fashions. Everyone has a different taste and LA does a great job at providing something for just about everyone. And it's impossible to compete with the rich history that France and Italy offer; but Hollywood, the Pacific, the Santa Monica Mountains, the Pacific Coast Highway, the food, the people, and the climate are all pretty good here.

  • @claudx13 It totally depends on where you're planning to move. Smog in Downtown LA is pretty bad, as is traffic. But if you live in the suburbs the smog isn't too much of a problem, most of the time you wont notice it. As for the traffic, there is no way around it, it's a lifestyle here, you just need to learn how to manage your time efficiently. With that said, I wish you a lot of luck!

  • @pahe13 Alright, thank you for your advice! :]

  • LA is dahh cityy to live if yall wanna come and enjoy dahh best state yall should we got alot of mutli culuters and its really fun but you also gotta know wat your wearing adnwere yuh at

  • I was born and live in a small country in middle Europe where even dreaming of living there is impossible... It is a whole different world out here ( no criminal, very conservative nation and no opportunities for business success...) I was saving money now for 4 years so I can buy a ticket and I am coming this year in June!!!!!! I am crying of excitement! I hope I will find myself there and start over!!

  • @djona22 We wish you all the best in your travels.

  • @djona22 I wish you all the best but be aware that L.A. can be a very difficult city to live in if you make under $100,000 a year. To truly experience Southern California you need quite the amount of money unfortunately or its basically like living in third world Mexico.

  • @137913792011 This is not entirely true. Plenty of people make less than $100k a year and live just fine in Los Angeles. Sure, you may not be buying a million-dollar-home but it's far, far from living in a third world country. It comes down to what someone considers "truly" experiencing life here. Having a family is always expensive, especially here. But, one doesn't necessarily need to be making six figures to live well.

  • i live in belfast, ireland, and i have recently qualified as an approved electrcian, would love to score a job out here in LA and move out ther in the next 2 to 3 years! does any1 know wat job possibilitys are like?

  • @vanpersie08 Congrats on your approval! Right now the new construction market is getting more and more investment, which means that in the next two to three years, there should be much more development than right now. Could be coming to LA at just the right time to jump into that. Of course, hard to say exactly.

  • I live in nowhere kentucky and it been my dream to live in LA. The clubs, music, food, weather, beaches, people. My entire family doesn't want me going, but once im out of college here I come.

  • @lostinthedark994 Moving away from the family can be tough but if you really want to live in LA, you should go for it. You can always move back if it's not what you end up wanting. Best of luck! And good luck in school.

  • @EricMichael93 how is the job opportunities?

  • One day soon :) I will be in LA!!!!! :D Looks amazing! <33

  • I wish I lived here

  • <3 ill be there someday <3 big dream to get my name out there <3

  • Los Angeles is bliss. I <3 living here.

  • I wanna go live in L.A I'm sick of melbounreeeee!!!!

  • 09nicksmith yes it is affordable!..but it depends were you want to live in LA...you got the good areas and the bad!...

  • Los Angeles really is a great place to live and work.

  • I really want to live there I'm only 13 and live in Denver, but want to move there with three other buddies when I turn 18 and go to culinary school. Do you think there might be an affordable place for four guys in L.A?

  • @09nicksmith

Yes, there's always cheap places to live, and with 4 roommates splitting the bill you can do it. Long Beach is cool and like 30 mins south of LA ; it has the most affordable living near the beach.

  • @09nicksmith Absolutely. @CazzMatt is right: always cheap places to live, just need to keep your eyes open. And when you can split the rent between 4 people, that will always help provide even more options than if you were looking for just one person.

  • @09nicksmith I want to move to LA too!!! WHen im 18 to go to college. i've been before with my family (I'm 13) and it would just make my life to go there. I really hope I can afford it, even if it's the worst place ever. (I'm from Portland!!)

  • *sigh* one day... one day i will go there...

  • @xXBrooke96Xx Do it! Take an adventure.

  • @ThePartnersTrust trust me i will!! :) when im older.. im only 15..

  • @luvulngtime2 Well there ya go. Not a bad place to be born and stick around.

  • @luvulngtime2 Culver City is a great part of town. Can definitely understand why you wouldn't want to leave. Where did you live before?

  • But L.A has terrible transportations and traffics

  • @jan8919 Driving through the city can be a bear, that's for sure. But, so long as you live relatively close to where you work, it's not too bad -- you might not even need to use any of the freeways. All big cities come with their traffic issues. Ideally the subway projects that we have in the works will help alleviate some of that gridlock as well, although that is several years away.

  • @jan8919 what city doesn't?

  • @MidnightFapper69 @jan8919 True, there are cons to living in LA -- traffic being one of them. Plenty of pros to off-set that con, though. One is living near where you work so that you don't have a long commute.

  • I'm moving to LA after HS graduation.... I got 2 years to save a lot of money.... I hope I can do it. :)

  • @dramagirl808 Excellent! Give yourself a plan of how much money you want to have before you leave. And then figure out how much you need to make/save each month to achieve it. You can do it, absolutely. Keep us posted on how it goes.

  • @ThePartnersTrust I hope to move to long beach after i finish community college. How far is it from los angeles? Is there any cheap good apartments.

  • @DAN5675able Long Beach can be about an hour or so away from LA. It's still in LA County but because of traffic, it can take anywhere from 20 minutes to over an hour depending on what part of the city you're coming from. Either way - in SoCal terms, it's close! You should be able to find some affordable apartments down there absolutely. Keep us posted when you're heading this way.

  • @ThePartnersTrust could I get an apartment around like $800?

  • @DAN5675able you could but it would either be in South Central or in a hood. Please make sure you have an Education before you come and have family support behind you.Glendale,Burbank,Valley are all cool cities with affordable housing. You can rent a room for 600 and up.1bd go for around 900 to 1000.

  • @Zeke4TV Having family support and a solid education are both excellent suggestions -- although you could also come here for school, as well.

  • @ThePartnersTrust yeah LA has great schools also, its jus the living expenses and the location you live in.You have to make sure Your school, job, and house is within good distance. We both know its tough to get around LA,especially when your trying to be on time.

  • @Zeke4TV Completely agree. If you live on one side of town and work on the other, you'll be spending an hour or more on your commute, each way. I can be tough to find all of those together so you usually have to accept some compromise in one area. But it can be done.

  • @DAN5675able Long Beach you should easily be able to find something around $800. Glendale, Burbank, and other parts of the Valley are also solid options as well. But don't count out Culver City, Mar Vista, Echo Park, West LA, and other parts of LA either; you should be able to find something in your price range fairly easily.

  • i realllllllyyy want to live in L.A :)

  • @sandyrubberbandy You should! It's a wonderful city (although we are biased). Something for everyone here. Where do you live now?

  • @ThePartnersTrust indiana :/ its such a boringgg state.

  • @noodlez223 Depends on where you live. There are parts of the city that have their ugly elements, as any other city in the world.

  • Im 16 an australian moving to L.A June next year. It's about my dads company I'm so excited!!

  • @imAcowMoo100 Well hope you adjust well to LA it might be a culture shock( I live in so cal too)

  • @imAcowMoo100 Very excited for you! It's a big city with a lot to offer. I'm sure you'll adjust quickly.

  • 0:28 filming ANTM cycle 15! lol

  • @dpjocs That's what you see when you're living in LA!

  • im english .. i love LA .. by the looks of it . im moving here for sure..

  • @TheRey4you Excellent! Look us up if you need a place to live.

  • @ThePartnersTrust but obviously i want to buy an apartment .. but i want it in a nice area.visa stay and work is my biggest problem. i have just turned 24 , its difficult to find work in LA.

  • @TheRey4you Yes, renting would be a great way to start out here in LA. There are plenty of great areas in LA that are relatively affordable (compared to the most expensive neighborhoods) - including North Hollywood and Glendale. Best of luck!

  • If you need an affordable place to stay while visiting Hollywood, come check out the Banana Bungalow Hostels on Hollywood Blvd and Fairfax Ave! Also, visit our youtube channel for more info!

  • sounds like a nice place to live

  • @snapsnapdik Is a nice place to live *-*
