Fun Things to do in York, PA

Damn, York must of went down hill since the time I used to live there. When I was this kid's age we had funner things to do like The Shady Dell, Twin arches, The York city circuit(the loop around Market St. square) every weekend, Malls were cool to hang at back them(especially York Mall), a good bit of night clubs and tons of parties. What the fuck happened?

@wanttorockout Almost all the clubs in york have shut down. The gay bar is still around as well as phat daddys and bmax, no more hardware bar, and all the sports bars you can handle. No one uses the circuit anymore since we suddenly have an influx of supercops. The mall is awesome for someone between the ages of 12-16. Towns falling apart to be honest, it's a place for the old to die, and the young to get the hell out of.

Well, I live in West York, and the only really fun thing to do is break the law, unfortunately.

Sadly, our fine officers of the law construe every act from walking down the street in a group, to actually doing something illegal as unlawful, so you've gotta be careful.

Best thing to do is head to the city and pick fights with the blacks. But make sure to bring friends, cuz they sure as hell will.

york isn't exactly a tourist destination but there's a lot to do if you know the right people =)

i think it's going to be true anywhere you go that if you're not a fun person you won't have fun.

York is pretty boring compared to some Cities. I went to Baltimore once and that place has like 10 million things to do.

I still like York though, half my family lives here and it's not as bad crime wise as some other places and whatnot. As for the York Fair, we do have one super attraction and that's the Fair, we always pull in big name performers and stuff and there's always something to do there.

I lived in York for 9 years, went to high school there....it really does suck. Of course now I live in a resort town (Ocean City, MD) that only has a population of 7,000 during the winter, you don't know boring until you lived in a town where everything is closed 6 months out of the year and the closest real town is 30 mins away
