almost one million people left the north country when Ho Chi Minh decided to side with communism. They didn't want to live under communism. They left their homes with only what they could carry. They voted NO with their feet. NO to communism, NO to HO. But Ho sent his VC to the south to strike terror into the hearts of those who opposed him. The South requested help from the US. The US did not stick its nose of its own desire, it was invited.

this is true, I agree, as to what u say cant get the audi, POL pot was sponsorsored by the CIA. THe CIA used the HMONg people for their own purposes to try to win the war.

@MarshallJukov What a load of hogwash. US was against Pol Pot. If there were any other My Lai, the press would have had a field day against the Americans. However the NVA wiped out 15,000 villages and hamlets in South Vietnam and killed 5,000,000 peasants for not supporting communism. The real evil bastards were and are the communists.
