i got the 75w vypyr about 46 months ago and its great. Gets realllll loud and sounds awesome, way better than the line 6 spider in my opinion. I haven't had any problems with it so far, except for some minor stuff that put it out of action for a few days but i got it fixed for free from peaveys warranty. If i new anything about electronics i probably could have fixed it myself
this amp is freaking amazing! i have this exact amp and it is just incredible. It is creepishly loud and is very responsive. the amps being modeled are just great. my favorites being the ac30 and marshall plexi, but the jsx and twin are pretty nice too.
The Peavey is way easier to use and you can make your own tones. The line 6+ you have to hit a button a bunch of times to find a certain tone. With the Peavey Vypyr you just turn the knobs and you mix and match pedals and amps . Nice amp good price too.
I've got a 30 watt Vypyr, but I got the Sanpera II for it, and I have to admit, I've got nearly $500 wrapped up in just the 2. ($200 for the amp, $260 for the Sanpera II).
11 etable post-amp rack effects. seems legit
