  • So... Sam was pretty much telling young Sarah how he kills people on a regular basis... ok.

  • the guy in the stall probably shit his pants :P

    oh wait...

  • @juneyaka i couldnt try i let someone borrow it to beat the game when my xbox was broken but he apparently really sucks at the games or never plays it or everytimes he sees me he forgets to bring it

  • @juneyaka ok just a thought

  • dude instead of waiting for him to go to the bathroom why didnt you just hit him out there on the street then kill the others and that one guy would get up off the ground and you could interigate him there i would be easy

  • Very kickass man keep up the job. =)

  • You literally cannot move past certain parts without downing targets. Unlike the other splinter cell games there is no total stealth in all missions. It isn't a question of skill if it can be "ghosted" I can do it any SC game including this one. Stealthing the parts that are difficult but do-able take more skill in Conviction than full ghosting any of the other SC games period.

  • Your idea of ghosting is incapacitating the enemy and shooting the lights out? Ghosting means avoiding contact, not disrupting the environment in any way, or using guns/gadgets to complete the mission. From what I've seen ghosting is not possible, although being very stealthy is still very possible if you try hard enough.

  • @LordTyrannus

    @LordTyrannus

The enemies that I killed were compulsory, and shooting out lights is fine to be honest (even despite the fact that you barely ever have to).

  • @justanotheraccount

Not really because shooting out the lights is disrupting the environment and the second you did it alerted the guards. :P

  • @LordTyrannus

It's the only way to get past them without being seen, and although it alerted them they didn't detect me ;). The second level can be almost entirely ghosted by YOUR definition, so don't worry :P

  • @LordTyrannus shut up and enjoy it its the best game

  • @sascha777777

No you shut up. And I am enjoying these videos.

  • @justanotheraccount

I understand, but the fact that it's "compulsory" for do something to complete the mission it only proves that ghosting is not possible.

Watch this video if you get the chance..this is how you ghost:

    watch?v=lylw5NZIe-o

I understand sometimes contact is unavoidable, or there is simply no way to proceed without being detected unless you do something like shoot a light or window..but for the most part that video is perfect.

  • @LordTyrannus oh just fuck off will you. Youre pissing everyone off

  • @AwsmPntsAlchmst

Um...no? I guess you don't like the fact that I'm right and you are wrong? Of course if you feel differently post why instead of telling me fuck off which is silly because I could care less if people are getting pissed off.

  • @LordTyrannus uuuuuugh. Youre one of those idealists who cant be dissuaded otherwise of their, usually, ludicrous opinions. Youre one of the fags that destroy youtube

  • @AwsmPntsAlchmst

Nothing I have said is ludicrous at all, the only fags here on youtube are the trolls like you who tell people to shut up without contributing anything to the discussion.

This game forces you to kill, the interrogations are scripted and brutal, the gadgets are made to cause as much noise and chaos as possible, their is no knife, you can't do things like puncture gas tanks or switch off valves. Is there even a turn of lights switch, or do you have to shoot them all?

  • @AwsmPntsAlchmst

There is no acceleration toggle, Sam is always moving quickly, you can't hide bodies, there is nor sound or light meter, no more stalking animation, no whistling, maps are smaller and not as spacious making it more ideal for action rather than stealth, and less interaction with the environment.

Splinter Cell stealth is gone and ghosting is impossible. Now unless you have something meaningful to say don't respond to this.

  • @LordTyrannus

Ghosting is possible for the entirety of some missions. The sound and light meter are unnecessary, along with the stalking animation (that's definitely not needed) and whistling.

  • @justanotheraccount

Yeah none of those are needed in this action fps. In a real stealth game those things are vital. I've seen your videos there is no ghosting. I linked a video what true ghosting is.

If you could please post where ghosting is possible. So far I've seen compulsory killing required to move forward, or forced interrogations.

Either way I will find out for myself when I get the game.

  • @LordTyrannus

You say 'no ghosting' as if it has to be continuous... sections of each level can be ghosted, some can be ghosted entirely. You didn't link to a video of what 'true ghosting' is, but I don't get what your trying to prove by linking to a ghost of a different game. As far as I can tell, you simply need a reason to hate this game, and that is seemingly the only reason you continue to argue with those who disagree with your opinion, :P.

  • @justanotheraccount

Huh? Ghosting a mission is completing it without setting off any alarms, killing anyone, being detected, or disrupting the environment. What is this garbage about "continuous" ghosting...you can either do it or you can't. There is no...oh but you can do it for 5min on one mission. You either complete the WHOLE mission ghosting or you don't simple as that.

I did link to a video. Here it is again: watch?v=lylw5NZIe-o

As far as I can tell that is Splinter Cell.

  • @LordTyrannus

You can ghost sections of a level, continuous ghosting isn't a term but doing a whole level is obviously what I meant by that. I know what ghosting is, :)

  • @justanotheraccount

I'm sorry but that would be like saying a ninja can be invisible only 30% of the time. A ghost is a ghost through the entirety of the mission. I understand you are telling me that the game forces you to fight almost all the time, it's scripted that way, there is no way to maneuver around that fact.

  • @LordTyrannus

Not really, to be something is different to doing something. Ghost - Ghosting.

  • @LordTyrannus

Splinter Cell Conviction was made to be more action based with stealth elements. If you want complete stealth, please stick with Chaos Theory or Metal Gear Solid 4, either way, stop complaining and stop being an ass.

  • @LordTyrannus

You'll like the second mission much better for those reasons, trust me :).
