Why is everyone bagging on or cheering her? She's not doing anything awkward nor out of the ordinary: she looks like any one else that comes on the show and does an interview.
I'm not a fan of hers but I don't see anything from her in this interview that sheds a negative light on her outside perhaps choosing a more conservative dress.
Boring? Awkward? ...Are you kidding me? She looks like such a cool girl; she's so sincere in interviews. Sure, this particular interview didn't have a lot of gem moments, but plenty others do. Famous or not, she seems like the kind of person I'd want to spend time with... I mean, more than with someone who is just trying to please the audience. She's an artist; this is who she is and that alone is pretty incredible. To me, she's all kinds of inspiring.

I won't deny that I thought that at one time until I realized that she's just an incredibly shy person. You can tell that she's trying to be comfortable when she talks to these people and you have to give her credit for that, but yeah it's obvious that the whole "famous" part of being an actress doesn't sit well with her. That's just a part in a movie lol. It shows that she has versatility as an actress. It doesn't make a difference what type of character she is portraying, she does a great job at it. It's nice to see actresses who are not ashamed or afraid to portray certain uncomfortable parts as a character. They are just movies as well lol. If you watch a lot of her interviews, she is a great role model. She's real, extremely nice, and honest- that's a pretty great role model if you ask me.

So she tries to avoid that. The few minutes you see of her in interviews doesn't mean you know her personality. They are just MINUTES of her life. People only see her when she's nervous. No one see when she's with her friends and family. You can't say she's monotone all the time because you really wouldn't know.

While in school my classmates thought that I was a bitch, pretentious, better than everyone brat. Which is so far from the truth. It wasn't until they got know me and were comfortable, they let me know what they thought and said of me. They realized they were wrong.

oh man..yes, she IS nervous,yes, she IS awkward! but, guys, thats kristen. i love her because she is what she is, she is shy, and she doesnt pretend as if shes the best or something like many other actors and actress. she is HERSELF and we LOVE her for THIS. we love her because shes so shy sometimes and doesnt find words. but thats her, thats kristen stewart. if she would behave like any other star, she wouldnt be her anymore. and, btw, if you dont like her (awkwardness), dont watch her videos..

She does nothin for me. In fact I would find her boring. She admits to not having a sense of humor. I couldn't handle that "monotone" personality. She seems as drab as that Twilight setting.

@Matryx Nope, she said she can't be funny during interviews. Not that she doesn't have a sense of humor. When she tries to be funny in the moment she said she sometimes offends people. So she tries to avoid that. The few minutes you see of her in interviews doesn't mean you know her personality. They are just MINUTES of her life. People only see her when she's nervous. No one see when she's with her friends and family. You can't say she's monotone all the time because you really wouldn't know.

@bluedragonfly1290 Actually I saw her in an interview where she said she didn't really have that sense of humor, so I am going off of her words. I am also going off how she appears in everything she is in (interviews, movies, etc.) She does NOT appeal to me. Shes pretty but I am not attracted to her. So yes, I can say why I am not attracted to her. You could write a 500 page dissertation on why i should be but it doesn't change how I feel. I was far more attracted to the vampire chicks.

@Matryx It does not matter to me whether you find her attractive or not. That's not what my comment was about. I as well going off her words. During an interview (cant remember which) she explains why she cant be funny without insulting people. And the interviewer agrees, then he references to a joke he made earlier insulting Marilyn Manson and Evan Rachel Wood.

@Matryx No, not personally but I do empathize with her. I'm a shy person too and do not crave the spotlight. While in school my classmates thought that I was a bitch, pretentious, better than everyone brat. Which is so far from the truth. It wasn't until they got know me and were comfortable, they let me know what they thought and said of me. They realized they were wrong.

@bluedragonfly1290 I agree with you. Tonight was the very first time I actually watched any of her interviews...I had no Idea she has social anxiety. I personally think she's does wonderful cosidering how she probably feels at the time. I suffer from the same thing and I can't understand how she can get up there on stage and do her thing...wish I had an ounce of her guts. I'd probably be famous too lol

No offense.. But she isn't even that pretty. What's up with her whole career? She's almost a bad example. In most pictures; she looks anorexic - which as I said is a horrid example. I have nothing against pale people, I'm pale! I think that it can be cute. But does she ever tan? In the summer, I can't help but tan.. Does she leave her house? I mean; she wears pretty revealing clothing.. So it's not like she covers up from the sun!
Also why does she act so awkward? It isn't cute. So weird..

@tharemedybeats I suffer from anxiety and the like, but the thing is, I would never play in a movie because I know that I would be in the public eye. Same goes for Kristen. She knew that Twilight was already a popular book and thus it became a popular movie. If she didn't want to be around people or didn't want to do interviews, then she should have given her role to someone else, who would be more open and less awkward in interviews.
