  • i have not heard this for about five years...it's amazing i love this song

  • Good day for you Michael....<3

  • love the whole thing and particularly the guitar at the end.what a band.

  • Can't wait to put on my vinyl collection of the moody blues on my turntable and ,with my surround sound hooked up,turning up the volume and let this beautiful music float over the neighbor late at night in the philippine neighborhood where I will be retiring soon.Boy are my neighbors in for a wonderful surprise.

  • I wish I lived next door. Enjoy!!!

  • @jesterlady1 Nothing like wonderful wonderful sounds and a warm(HOT!!)tropical night.

  • I always thought this song was beautiful, Mike sings it so perfectly

  • Now you know how nice it feels,

Scatter good seed in the fields.

    Life's ours for the making,

    Eternity's waiting, waiting,

    For you and me.

Now you know that you are real,

Show your friends that you and me

    Belong to the same world,

Turned on to the same word,

    Have you heard?

  • Now you know that you are real, Show your friends that you and me Belong to the same world, Turned on to the same word, Have you heard? Now you know that you are free, Living all your life at ease. Each day has its always, A look down life's hallways, doorways, To lead you there.
  • You really need surround sound to enjoy the Moody blues... birds flying around your head... the sounds engulfing you... wow

  • Simply Amazing!! Thank You illuminatedEntity.

  • A masterpiece - What a Band. :)

  • December 27th, happy 70th birthday Mike Pinder! I wish you all the best always lad. Thank you so very much. a fan since 1967.

  • If you did not have an automatic turntable, the last piece of this song would play forever as it was placed in the run out groove of the vinyl LP.

  • show your friends that you & me,, whewww great feeling...

  • Very very cool! Perfect imagery for cosmic classic! Thank you!

  • This is a Mike Pinder song from the Moody Blues. I want him back in the Moody Blues! I feel that it's unfair that he's not in the band anymore. He wrote some great songs for them.

  • @BrianRuhe Yep - too bad Pinder left when they broke up. He was the artisan and the magician of the group. Many of his songs are my favs....

  • @BrianRuhe John Lodge has been doing a very nice version of it during the '11 tour.

  • 5:27 to 6:33 amazing piano of mike pinder. genius moody blues.

  • wow.

  • Gelmiş-gelecek en büyük topluluk Moody Blues.!!!

  • This music is so awesome even if you're completely sober!

  • These guys were as innovative as The Beatles, the Moodies were just less mainstream. I've loved their music since the 1st time I heard "Nights in White Satin"!!!!!!!

  • @lgaytan65 yeah, it's just a shame that the pushing of the use of lsd and other psychoactive drugs were tied in with the listening experience.

  • @JonBenet6 I can see how smoking a joint and getting off on The Moody Blues would be an event unto itself. However, I used to just lay on the floor on a mound of pillows (the rage in those days), put on earphones and listen to these guys on a natural high. You did not need drugs, all they did was make you stupid.

  • @Halo101st I agree that you do NOT have to be stoned to enjoy The Moody Blues. However, I don't believe that their music has been fully (and I repeat, fully) appreciated until you hear it stoned. If one has never done something like listen to Meloncholy Man at a high volume while tripping, one can't give an honest opinion of whether or not it's better. Is it necessary...NO! Is it better that way...you better flippin' believe it! I think The Moodies themselves hoped we'd hear it that way.

  • @Halo101st I agree... but we =were= so stupid back then we needed a little rocket fuel to get us above the cult-ural clouds.

  • @naughtmoses and the modern world isn't filled with mind numbing societal oppression? The war on terror, the war on drugs, it is all the kids these days know. They are forcefed rubbish music, over-medicated, suppressed and monitored in ways your generation could only imagine.

  • Speechless

  • @moodybluepassions I'm with you 100%, we'd be good friends.

  • @moodybluepassions I feel the same way as you do about The Moody Blues. I first heard them when I was 4 in 1968, and instantly liked them. In 1982 I bought their newest album at the time, actually an 8 track, "Long Distance Voyager" and listened to it everyday until I graduated that year. Every song on it reminds me of my last year of high school and I will always treasure it. No band can compare to them in my opinion.

  • That was freakin' great, man! Thanks so much for making and sharing this video. I always loved this song myself, to begin with. And you do it justice, for sure...

  • All 14 year old children should turn on to the MBs and discover what we discovered long ago.

  • .......just...........wow!!

  • Whenever I hear the part at 3:20 I think of stairs... really trippy stairs.

  • Excellent in EVERY way !!

  • I totally agree with MoodyJill. Wish I could have seen this video in the early 70’s. Great job!

  • Fantastic!

  • beautifull song!

  • How could one not become a drug burn-out with music like this available? We never had a chance (to say no). Enjoy your successes. Love, the casualty brains.

  • I was lucky enough to grow as a child in the 70's with an amazing collection of LP's. This album (and song within) struck a spark in me to become a musician myself. What an amazing band along with all of the other Progressive Rock that it opened my eyes to!

  • Thank You Illuminated Entity!......................Well done...indeed! One of the BEST bands ever!

  • I can imagine watching this video listening to this song back in 1968 on a hit of purple dome...Moody blues.. best band..

  • Mike Pinder has a remarkable voice. Let's hope that they reunite for one more...

  • wonderful and beautiful. The Moody's have always rocked. Love the video. Thanks for loading....

  • @vinstyles This is one of the best MB songs ever, the words/music just kifts the soul.

  • @lneranger4 i meant lifts the soul

    Beautiful.

  • Outstanding moody blues song and great video to match the song. love it!!!!

  • My dearly departed dad always claimed that the antidote to any bad trip was the Moody Blues' Threshold of a Dream!?! For me personally it was always Beck Mellow Gold, but Moody Blues most definitely does the trick too!!! Beautiful song, beautiful album : )

  • I could watch this all day, thank you. Fitting imagery for my favourite song of all time.

  • Thank You!!

  • amazing video I love it........ and this song never ceases to astound me!!!!!!!

this is how I first discovered The Moody Blues

  • Totaly stunning, you`ve got me running to dig out my older Moodies LP`s . Fortunatly I kept all my Marantz gear complete and its all working in my attic hideaway:)

  • Very well done.

  • A great job!

  • This is a classic for me...

  • Very well done! It's a great song, and the graphics fit the time it came out as well.

  • TMB are better all around than the stones and beatles IMO.

  • @zooluke agreed also IMO

  • Beautiful, surreal, and perfect. All of it.

  • Very nicely done. I see that you used a stereo version of the 5.1 mix from the SACD. The "outer space" effect at the end is not on the stereo mix.

  • hello i've been in the blues theses days. no i'm not breaking you're moods , just wanted to tell you what a absolute beautiful intermesh of HAVE YOU HEARD meets a pretty pictorial that moves me so. have been down in the dumps lately . what you did was quite an awakening to me. have always loved that song , but never took the oppurtunity to look reality and embrace it so much till i saw this video. thank you ever so much!
