I am no longer a Democrat because Democrats are socialists. The father of modern Socialism in America said Americans will only accept Socialism if it was called something else-so they called it Liberalism. Americans were too smart for that so they renamed it again to Progressivism. The Democrats do not like America because we are not more like a sissy European Nation. Immigrants come to America because the statist regimes of other countries are failures.

@danmol78 The democrats are center-left, not socialist. Democratic socialism is well to the left of center left. Also, the countries that people are leaving are not even democratic socialist. People are leaving 3rd world nations with substandard living conditions AND nations where democracy does not exist. However, some European nations are democratic socialist and they are doing fine. You don't see a mass exodus of people leaving those nations in order to come to the US.
