this song best describe my feelings for my husband every time he is assigned to work on a different country....I miss him so much that sometimes it feels that I see him in everyone
What a great group, great lead singer, and great song. What a phenomenal, complete package. This song brings back such great memories. To all of you who live in countries where survivor has performed you are so lucky, in Australia we either have to travel or settle for the CDs. So shame on you if you live in a country where you can see them and you dont. You would be missing out on something GREAT!
@jordantimmyful man, last year, Jimmy jameson was playing here in chile with a tribute band !!!!! I saw him singing from a 2 mts distance !!!! The guy sing just like the cds... very gentle and even signed my shirt !!!! It costed 25 dollar (us) . Really priceless !!
I can't stop listening to this song! For one thing, it's lyrics are soooo POWERFUL....and they have such an impacting meaning.....and another thing is that the voice singing it is sooo POWERFUL as well!
Hats off to the songwriters for coming up with the perfect song which describes exactly how you feel when you love/miss someone......
When I was a kid, I stayed up late one night, and the Vital Signs concert from Japan was on TV. It absolutely blew me away, they played most of the album, EVERY song on the album is a winner. Thanks so much for this upload!!

My brother died in a car crash in July 1984. I was 9 years old. This was one of the first cassette tapes I ever owned after his death and to this day reminds me of him.
wow! this song just makes wanna cry even though ive had no loss or anything. its just sooo pure and im a guy lol. jimi jamison is just an amazing singer. wow!

I love this song. My husband died on the 23 March, 1994. I went to a Survivor concert in April and when I got home I played this song over & over again. It has very bittersweet memories for me
what this song is trying to describe the desperation bordering madness for the absence (lost) of a special person..a love
The song is very emotional and dramatic..
one of the best songs I've heard. Jimi´s voice, piano, drums, beats, guitar , lyrics..everything is perfect..Survivor knows how to convey feelings and emotions perfectly
you are correct this was an awesome album. I remember buying it when it can out. Jammed to it then and thanks to you tube and you i can jam to it still. Thanks for sharing

This song is an instant reminder of my high school sweetheart. I can relate to the lyrics too, and I listened to this song a LOT in the years after we broke up. Now I don't pine away for him anymore, but this song does bring back strong memories for sure...
I just posted these lyrics on Facebook for my son, Alex, who died 4 weeks ago today in a car accident. It seems so right for what we are feeling. Jim and Frankie wrote great lyrics and music...soulful and spot on to whatever we are feeling.
Thank you for being so kind and to the others who have lost a loved one..it never goes away.Music helps and this song is exceptional when I think of Alex...we used to sing and dance with him and his sister when they were little..to all kinds of music-AOR, classical, plays, etc. They both appreciate the great singers and songs from all the different eras. Hey! What about me? My 9 yr old son died in an accident at the tuna canning factory. He accidentally packed himself in a can of tuna. I think the little shit wanted to get back in the same environment as his mom's pussy. He didn't really embrace life very well. He was 4 months past due and we had to use jaws of life to remove him from that dank, dark dungeon of dicks of yore. When we yanked that bastard out of her, he looked like he was pulled out of the La Brea tar pits.

I've discarded so many Asian prostitutes at La Brea! One time I was driving one down there to dump off, and she started moving! I was shocked, how can anyone be alive after that much blood loss? Anyway, this song was playing on the radio and it rang so true to my heart, she looked just like everyother gook hooker I banged over the years, even without her face. I got a little reminiscient, so I had one more go at her before I sank her into the pits.
ya that is very stragne, i have just started to notice how easy it is to relate most songs but it seems just about every song is about missing or wanting a girl and thats how im feelin
Sorry -about your brother. They say it gets easier with time...it does'nt. Hang on to the good memories and know that he misses you and loves you too. Best Wishes. :)
@wizeguiz - I'm so sorry about your girlfriend. Even though time may mute some of the pain, nothing quite fills that loss of this unique, very special someone. This song really reaches deep and brings remembrance of special someones we've lost when we catch glimpses of people that remind us of those no longer with us, like your girlfriend.
@annihilus2 She was 17; I was18. She was on her way to my house to visit when a drunk driver hit her head on. I heard it come acrossed the scanner and made it to the scene...and I held her while she passed on. We had so much in common- she was my soulmate. I have never forgot her-I never will. I put fresh roses on her grave every year on her birthday. She was my one and only.
@wizeguiz I somehow find it fortunate you are one of those doods that listens to scanners, and your story sounds SOMEthing like the 'Last Kiss' song by Pear Jam, look it up if you don't know it. i would beg you to change the 'I will never forget about her' comment, because, well, frankly I will never forget about her, and I just heard the story, we know you will never forget her, how do you really make her special? the 'soulmate' comment is more like it. If survivor wrote your song, It's title?
@annihilus2 Sorry, I don't like Pearl Jam and I don't ever remember hearing that song. It happened 26 years ago and it feels to me like it was yesterday. We talked about getting married and shareing all that life had to offer. Who knew it would all change in a heartbeat. One day we will be together again, and that I have no doubt. As far as a song title goes, I could'nt say. Peace.

i am sorry to hear that, can imagine your pain,my brother and friend where killed in a car crash, this song is great, but remember only the good things mate
This is one of the underrated songs and bands in history of music. I wonder what new generations would think if they dig into the music of the 70s and 80s
They would notice the shit they are hearing today.
I definitely agree. I'm a new generation kid. I love the 70's and 80's compared to the crappy rap most kids are listening to today. I am an outcast of music, because I completely love country, a little old-style pop, and 70's and 80's. most people think i'm insane. Kinda disappointing that they don't realize what they're missing.
this song was the B side of I Can´t Hold Back 45 record back in 1984, for the youngsters(B side means the other side on the record ) in vynyl of course ...
The genre of this kind of music needs to come back again. I'm not even from this generation, but the singing, the words, and the meaning of the song is really cool. I must admit, my generation of music sucks.
I so agree - I am only 14 and I hate most modern music, but love this genre and band in particular. Did you know that survivor is still going on today but with Frankie Sulivan being the only founding member?
I love Survivor's music. But perosnally i wouldnt care for Jimi on that show. Manily because it's based on a fad. It's about as bad as the Jonas Brothers
this band is just so awesome ... the fad may have changed but survivor remains to be one of my most favorite. over the years their music still get through me...and it just feel awesome..the substance, the beat, the music.. this is what music is all about...
My favorite survivor song. The atmosphere of this song is so dramatic, a desperation for a lost person.AMAZING lyrics, love the piano. great song, perfect.
Thanks to Apex147 for posting the video from their 1985 concert in Japan- if you can believe Jimi sounds even better live than on the record..unbelievable! Title - See You in Everyone (live 1985) Frankie's guitar is equally impressive- long version - 9+ minutes! Enjoy!
OMG...this takes me back to my teen years BIG TIME. I played this cassette I thik till it fell apart. Great to hear Mickey Thomas from Starship in the background too singin' awesome as always.
My favorite music group. Survivor rules!!! Jimi Jamison rocks. Great voice. Such power and passion. They don't music like this anymore. Thank god we have cd's and Youtube. We can listen to what we want whenever we want. Just pop in the cd and play. Or log on to Youtube for some video to go along with your song. Jimi Jamison your'e the best hands down. American Idol so called singers are just losers compared to you Jimi. They have nothing on you!!! Long live Jimi Jamison!!!

@wizeguiz how bout her name? Is it a Survivor song title? "I see you in everyone" has always been an intense favorite of mine.

This is one of the underrated songs and bands in history of music. I wonder what new generations would think if they dig into the music of the 70s and 80s
They would notice the shit they are hearing today.
cletozub 2 years ago 5
hay man iam 17 and i totally agree. I only listen to 70 and 80s music. Music now days sucks so bad

amen!

I definitely agree. I'm a new generation kid. I love the 70's and 80's compared to the crappy rap most kids are listening to today. I am an outcast of music, because I completely love country, a little old-style pop, and 70's and 80's. most people think i'm insane. Kinda disappointing that they don't realize what they're missing.

this song was the B side of I Can´t Hold Back 45 record back in 1984, for the youngsters(B side means the other side on the record ) in vynyl of course ...
vakeromty 2 years ago 2
The genre of this kind of music needs to come back again. I'm not even from this generation, but the singing, the words, and the meaning of the song is really cool. I must admit, my generation of music sucks.
iwrk925 2 years ago 9
I so agree - I am only 14 and I hate most modern music, but love this genre and band in particular. Did you know that survivor is still going on today but with Frankie Sulivan being the only founding member?

Frankie's my favorite one. IDK why I just like him.
A friend saw Survivor in concert, in 2002, at Disney World. He wasn't so crazy about them, while I OTOH was jealous of him getting to go.

I love Survivor's music. But perosnally i wouldnt care for Jimi on that show. Manily because it's based on a fad. It's about as bad as the Jonas Brothers
SJ970 3 years ago 2
I'd love to see Jimi as a guest judge on American Idol. He'd be awesome. I think it might help re-ignite their music. Anyone else agree?
Autumnstar1205 3 years ago 6
not only do i agree with you, i would watch AI just to see Jamison....
sldghamr1 3 years ago 2
this band is just so awesome ... the fad may have changed but survivor remains to be one of my most favorite. over the years their music still get through me...and it just feel awesome..the substance, the beat, the music.. this is what music is all about...

Thanks to Apex147 for posting the video from their 1985 concert in Japan- if you can believe Jimi sounds even better live than on the record..unbelievable! Title - See You in Everyone (live 1985) Frankie's guitar is equally impressive- long version - 9+ minutes! Enjoy!
