  • I love your uploads! I look forward to it more than gold rush or bering sea gold. I just wanted to thank you for posting these videos, your living out a dream I only think of in my sleep.beautiful BC, gold, Coffee & cigarettes! I heard you might be looking for another dog? how about adopting a big brother! ;) lol

ps: would you ever go to alaska to dredge the bering sea? Cause If i do, you'll be my first inquiry!

  • To bad you can`t channel to the sluice from the dig site .

  • D'arcy...

Question about the rocks 'point' l> towards the direction of flow downstream? It would seem just the opposite. The blunt end would <l face downstream, less force with the point facing towards the direction-upstream. Like a kite points into the wind, or in this case points INTO upstream? Just a ?? Lar

  • Heart of gold... now for some in your pan! It's only fair, yah? Besides a cool shack and a nice fire, you had some of more nature out there, must have good hearing...

Thanks for the additional tips, just when you're thinking too much, backing up and you get something for thinking less. Gold is where you find it, think you said that earlier in one of your vids. Be safe and take care yourself. Larry

  • I've got to try that some time. Sampling in to the bush more, I have been really stuck on the creek area. But like you said the old timers worked those area's out, close to the river. It's good to hear your thoughts, it get's me thinking more on my thoughts..lol, Gold fever. Always thinking where that gold can be found.

  • After all of your hard work, I'm sorry that it didn't offer more than you got out of it. I'm looking forward to your searching another section of your claim and hope that you do a lot better next time. Stay safe and good hunting :D

  • Thanx for sharing your mining experiences with us HixonAu. The pointers on the way the rock faces that shows the possible old river direction, is very good info to have. @ mrfish40 & Aminer49r: I think his dog has been gone for about 6 months. Ran off into the woods after something, and never came back & could not be found? I think it was mentioned on one of the episodes.

    Thanx again HixonAu

  • @TyD59 Thanks.........cool little trick "A"........it's even better because it points in the direction

I was hoping it would........right into a large flat off in the bush.........Take care.
