  • These guys are AMAZING. They came to Perth last year for the Big Barbershop Day Out. They did workshops with us and everything. I've met them! lol. I hope they come back again this year. They were so fantastic. Thankyou sooooo much to the person that put up these videos. You have no idea how happy it made me and my friends lol.

A bit of trivia: This arrangement of Barbara Ann was arranged by them, by ear. They're so clever!

  • Arranging by ear like that is called "woodshedding."

There is an organization dedicated to that art: AHSOW (The Ancient, Harmonious Society Of Woodshedders).

Most Barbershop conventions will have an AHSOW room set up for anyone who wants to learn or practice woodshedding.

  • @ COMALiteJ: Woodshedding is great! I don't think this is woodshedding... It's pretty well rehearsed.

  • @MarshallVoit, I was Replying BroadwayNUT77.

Woodshedding has nothing to do with rehearsing. Woodshedding has to do with whether the arrangement started as sheet music.

Even some printed arrangements now available as sheet music were originally woodshedded.

  • Very good!!!

    The modern version:)
