you should put a belt pully on it and make a type of transmission for that cart so you can drive it around, maybe a semi axle in the back and another to to make th 90 so you can hook it all up
@1112223333111 Yes they can when there under a load but this one is just coasting along with no load and the gas is restricted to slow it down even more.
i imagine it dosent use much fuel with the short dwell point, does it produce spark thru a cam drive,or a magnet,or is it just compressing gases combined with momentum? really neat, thanks for sharing!
No this engine has always been a gas engine. The half breeds started out as a steam engine. They than took the steam cylinder and valve chest off and fit a gas engine cylinder in it's place.
This is really cool. I saw a similar Bessemer hit and miss engine running at a county fair last week, but I wasn't there to see them start it. My grandfather worked at Cooper Bessemer in Grove City, Pa. They built diesel engines for locomotives at the time he retired in the 1970's.
Sound like electro : D

That would tear off a leg if you slip into the flywheel as it fired. what where these used for? and how much can one be picked up for?

@packingone you throw a body into the spokes of the flywheel to stop it
Nza420 1 year ago

wow that thing really bounces the running gear at start up :30
BillTheTractorMan 2 years ago
We usually block it up with the wheels off the ground when we are at shows. It takes the bounce out of it.
steamer123 2 years ago
yeah that would help lol didn't think of that

would you be able to fit one of these in a light aircraft?
reggiepudding 2 years ago
Looks like it weighs more than most light aircraft.
