it doesnt accually overwrite them it just adds stuff to them. and that can be disabled through the "data files" or the oblivion mod manager

Some do overwrite files, I know this from personal experience. I tried a UI mod that failed badly and the old UI files were overwritten.  Maybe it was just a poorly made mod all around. Better safe than sorry.

Something like this can probably lead to endless hours of fun! The spell is a little overpowered though, I think it should be hostile when used on red-hand marked items. It wouldn't really matter since you'd probably flay them with a dozen metal sharp objects before they could even move, but at least the guards have a good reason to kill you. :P

I'd like to do something like this with watermelons. Who needs Midas Magic when you can become a hurricane of melons yourself?
