The only problem I see with iRacing (especially as I live in Britain) is that a lot of the tracks available right now are American tracks that are less well known across the globe. Laguna Seca is fine, but I couldn't care less about Lime Rock Park, Lanier Speedway and the vast array of boring oval tracks.

I think iRacing will be alot better when it includes tracks like Nurburgring, Tsukuba and maybe even the Monaco GP circuit ;)

@sporkafife Those are easy tracks to get a contract for, the iRacing scanners went to Interlagos. Customs in Brazil rejected their equipment. Then Montreal was almost ready to be done at the last moment the government canned it. But we do have a lot of tracks from around the world. 6 of the 12 tracks on the F1 Grand Prix series this season are out of the USA. Thats the great thing about iRacing that beats rFactor 2. They won't rest until we have every great track in laser scanned detail.

@sporkafife problem is they have to laser scan the tracks, a lot of tracks aren't willing, and it's expensive to do so. Monaco is also a street circuit and not possible to scan. Nurburgring is too big, and would be too costly to scan.

iRacing has Spa, Suzuka, Silverstone, Brands Hatch, Zandvoort Phillip Island and Okayama from abroad. Yes tracks like Lime Rock are boring, but there's no denying that Watkins, Road America, Road Atlanta, Sebring, Mosport are some of the best in the world.

likin the lime rock track huh? it's a great track. Iracing really needs more cars. I understand the amount of effort that requires but the car list is really pathetic so far. they need so european cars and at least some production cars. I'm not saying it needs to be like nfs shift with 99% production and then a couple gt1 and gt3 cars but people do like taking road cars to the track. I actually prefer it in a video game bcuz it's harder to do in real life
