i will tell you how you stay out in the ocean without catching hypothermia. you stay on top of the turned over boat as best as possible. a really long strong rope would have came in very handy in this situation. you could loop it through the submerged tie offs & across the overturned hull & this would have given them something to grab a hold to & keep them from falling off. either they didn't have a rope or they were stupid. i am guessing the latter.
