ofcourse i do. To become a great guitarist, you gotta really like music and be open to all genres. You gotta train your ears to hear the difference in how things sound. You have to have an open mind and creativity. And you have to practice a LOT....these are just some starting points.

definately old school rock. New school rock doesnt have too much guitar soloing and stuff. Im really into GNR with slash and all that. He's my fav. Some good bands to listen to are like...gnr, metallica, acdc, eagles, ozzy, x japan...i dunno, anything oldschool rock is great to listen to. Just keep playing and in no time you'll be awesome.
