@SuperMegaTrailer The camera only made the crash happen early, even if Frankie had gotten off the ride, the hydraulic system would have still leaked because the ride attendant fixed Lewis' safety thing. So the safety things would had been broken anyways, now try to stop at exactly 2:10. You hear a bang and (if you stopped at 2:10) you can see that the left track is already broken. Now based on that, the ride would crash even though Frankie got off the ride.

It says that the oil messed it up, but the camera just made it faster. In fact, if he hadn't brought the camera and the ride had just continued, they may not have died.

But, since the ride was delayed do to Wendy and the fight, the oil had messed it up enough

@SuperMegaTrailer Well, the falling camera was only part of the problem...if you look carefully at 0:55 and 1:28, there are a couple of scenes where the coaster's leaking brake fluid or something.

So basically, the crash was inevitable and out of Frankie's hands (pardon the unintentional pun).

@hypnodance It's leaking hydraulic fluid for the harnesses. However, the each car would have a separate hydraulic not one for the whole train. Plus of course all of those harnesses have a mechanical locking mechanism besides just the hydraulic one. That mechanical lock doesn't let go until the train has come to a stop in the station.
