  • Wow....this is such an informative video....I never even REALLY considered this before.....I really love your nail polish, what brand and colour is it?

And I agree, I love the pump format dispensers the most too! I don't know why, but it just makes me feel like I can control how much product I dispense better....Thank you for this video!! =)

  • nice video, you did not mention vacuum packed pump bottle. it uses suction method to extract the product to the top

  • wowo! your so intelligent! lol

im scared to use all my prodcuts now lol

  • great video!!! very informative!!!

  • Never really thought of cosmetic product packaging this way before. So thanks for the info!

  • Seems that skin product contamination is a minor threat considering our skin exists in a nonsterile environment. Our hands and face are covered with much more bacteria and fungi than what could possibly be found in a product jar or tube. Plus, skin products are processed mixtures, very unlikely to have all the necessary nutrients for a microbe flora to develop.

  • Yup, I definitely agree. That's why I noted in the description box that you should consider the product itself; not every product will require such rigorous packaging.

I'm referring more to maintaining the integrity of the product. For example, since natural and organic products are becoming so prevalent and certain preservatives such as parabens are being avoided by many consumers, it's important that packaging on these items is effective enough to maintain the quality of the product.

  • Airless packaging can help to prevent the product from oxidizing, to protect the formulations of the products (e.g. active ingredients), and to dispense 100 percent of the product. Also, airless dispensers eliminate contact with the air after the fill process, meaning no drying out of formulas, no contamination and no discoloration.

Again, I encourage my viewers to be savvy and think for themselves; does the formulation match the packaging? =) Hope that helps!

    xx
