how can we treat this with alternative medicine and natural substances for dogs? My dog has been bitten twice by a Lyme tic with the Bulls eye rash and all.
Once 2 yrs ago and 3 days ago. Now she is so sleepy, almost no appetite and wobbly when she walks. Stupid vet did nothing but take my money.
Google....."Low Dose Naltrexone Homepage." And also here on You tube..."Controlling Lyme Disease," and see the LDN videos by "TropicalDawg" here as well. I have been using LDN, for just over a week now, and feel the need to pass the buzz. This is a drug that helps with the immune system, inflammation and endorphins. Eat as if you had a yeast problem, because Lyme loves what yeast loves. And no sugars of any kind..."Including Fruit!"
My Dog has it now, damn thick Tick on his tail, removed it. Dog seemed fine until about 3 days later. I thot he woke up with arthritus or something, seeing he is a (12 1/2 yr old chow) but he seemed fine the day before. Slight fever, heavy breathing, back legs seemed stiff, lathargic, ect. So sad to see him this way. He's on anti-biotics now.
Lyme testing in humans is not diagnostic and the test is used at all labs nationwide except Igenex, this is why lyme is people is so hard to diagnose. A Lyme literate MD (very famous) is quoted as saying every dog in america has lyme. If the testing is as bad for dogs as it is people...I believe it. My 3 dogs have been bitten, but have a wide variety of symptoms, everything from hip problems, vision, depression (lethargic), etc. that wax and wane..just like in people.
The ONLY symptom in dogs is a multiple leg lameness (more than ONE leg). People get all kinds of symptoms - not dogs. I haven't see a case in dogs in 20 years. A new disease - ehrlichliosis - is around, has the same symptoms and responds to the same antibiotic - just needs two weeks treatment and not 4 like Lyme does.
All over the world there are those vets that just see dollar signs in their customers eyes I have run into my fair share of these vets myself. I wish there were more vets like you!

Vets will make negative comments about my run in with the state board and that is explained on my web page. The don't sign their real name and don't dispute what I say. I am still in active (extremely busy) practice and have one of the best spay survival records in the state - something my local arch rival can't say. That's the one making all the negative comments. Thank you for being a decent ethical medical professional... I have put your site link on my web site in hopes of making your information available to more who are concerned.
