I've always wondered; in A New Hope, Vader's TIE Fighter's been shot and he's spinning through space the last you see of him. Exactly how did he get back?
@Staremonemesis The way I look at it,he must have radioed to a Star Destroyer and landed on it. The Executor (his own massive ship) didn't show up until Empire, even though it may have already "existed" in the world of Star Wars.
@Staremonemesis Vader's TIE was hyperdrive equipped as well, which we didn't see on other TIEs except for Defenders and there were hyperdrive equipped Interceptors(a Star Destroyer Captain's personal escape vehicle).
now a days they dont even show commercials for the new star wars toys and every time i go to walmart there aint crap because the walmart i go to doesnt sail or re-stock crap of star wars toys plus the vehicles in 2007 were all like 20 bucks but now they go all the way up to like 70 !
I had that DV Tie fighter when I was a kid, The one my son has now SUX compared to this one! Cheap plastic that always falls apart. At least the wings on this one were supposed to pop off
very sweet remmember those good ol days!! we used to play it doing some crazy sounds and voices to make it as real as possible.. kids nowadays just stucked in their rooms playing video games and thats it..
Hahaha I love how the kid looks into the cockpit and talks to Luke. "Careful, Luke, we've got company!" Little does Luke know that a giant human kid is actually flying him around.

The Darth Vader tie-fighter was hard as hell to find in the store...and I grew up in Cali. I remember one version of the X-wing came with battle damage stickers or something. Nice nostalgia here.
Quick kids, get your parents to buy you Darth Vader's Tie fighter. That way George Lucas will have lots of money to make a bunch of crappy movies twenty years later!
Knowing these commercials, I was expecting the voice of R2-D2 to be the kids going "Beep boop boop bop beep!" Instead of actually talking.

Wonder what Star Wars would've been like today, if Arnold had been cast as Vader. (Either as an actor or just voice).

WTF?

I guess Vader was too cheap to buy the batteries "sold seperately". ^_^

@Flaxalf the wings. they are solar pannels as well ;)
wedge128 1 year ago
@Flaxalf Those seriously are "solar panels" according to the Star Wars universe.
