  • Knowing these commercials, I was expecting the voice of R2-D2 to be the kids going "Beep boop boop bop beep!" Instead of actually talking.

  • Surprise, Surprise...it's Lando in disguise..

  • Fuck me its got a flashing light! O_O

  • "I'll be back" so that's where Arnold got that.

  • looks old, i have the much better vertion.

  • I aleays wanted the big TIE fighter... :( WHY.MOM,WHYYYYYY?!

  • omigod, I'm 5 again!!

  • "I'll be back...after I pick up my solar panels from your lawn"

  • Sounds like original Battlestar Galactica theme playing in the backround...

  • Vader's Spidey Sense is working!

  • the one person that disliked this video lost their solar panels

  • how old are these videos like 30 years old WOW i would die if i was in 1977 XD

  • fashing light and action sounds! bzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz!

  • batteries not included? No...NOOOOOOOOOOOOO!

  • The TIE Fighter was awesome. The X-Wing was crap. It looked nothing like the real thing!

  • I've always wondered; in A New Hope, Vader's TIE Fighter's been shot and he's spinning through space the last you see of him. Exactly how did he get back?

  • @Staremonemesis The way I look at it,he must have radioed to a Star Destroyer and landed on it. The Executor (his own massive ship) didn't show up until Empire, even though it may have already "existed" in the world of Star Wars.

  • @Staremonemesis Vader's TIE was hyperdrive equipped as well, which we didn't see on other TIEs except for Defenders and there were hyperdrive equipped Interceptors(a Star Destroyer Captain's personal escape vehicle).

  • haha. amazing. I was only 5 but I do remember going to see it and can remember definitely the Empire Strikes Back toy craze- nice upload!

  • why did the solar panels come off?

  • @mbtion becuse i have no soul for chickin

  • now a days they dont even show commercials for the new star wars toys and every time i go to walmart there aint crap because the walmart i go to doesnt sail or re-stock crap of star wars toys plus the vehicles in 2007 were all like 20 bucks but now they go all the way up to like 70 !

  • I had that DV Tie fighter when I was a kid, The one my son has now SUX compared to this one! Cheap plastic that always falls apart. At least the wings on this one were supposed to pop off

  • I feel ya, Dome--I got the X-Wing in the summer of 1978 at K-Mart. It was THE BALLS.

  • "I'll be back!" Were they secretly promoting The Terminator?

  • very sweet remmember those good ol days!! we used to play it doing some crazy sounds and voices to make it as real as possible.. kids nowadays just stucked in their rooms playing video games and thats it..

  • 0:07 - 0:10

  • Hahaha I love how the kid looks into the cockpit and talks to Luke. "Careful, Luke, we've got company!" Little does Luke know that a giant human kid is actually flying him around.

  • YODAS HOVEL is a con artist who rips people off from a site called classicstarwarsfigures.c0m Please be careful collectors a dont buy from this slime ball...BEWARE ALL VINTAGE COLLECTORS !!!!

  • ACTION HIGH-PITCHED SQUEAL!

  • They probably did, in the out takes. lol

  • I had these toys ...they were great !

  • I still have mine.....

  • Wow, this stuff captured the imaginations and ingrained itself in our popular culture like nothing else ever had! I wish I was a kid in the 70's.

  • Action sounds... LOL

  • The Darth Vader tie-fighter was hard as hell to find in the store...and I grew up in Cali. I remember one version of the X-wing came with battle damage stickers or something. Nice nostalgia here.

  • the tie fighter sounds gay

  • lets chat

    ANY GUYS UP? oc

  • the tie fighter sounds sound like a dying bird

  • @starwarsfreak1111 rolfcopter.

  • THe kids in these commercials always had awesome yards that seem designed for action figure play...mine didnt :\

  • Ahhhhh...memories.

  • Quick kids, get your parents to buy you Darth Vader's Tie fighter. That way George Lucas will have lots of money to make a bunch of crappy movies twenty years later!

  • isnt that the old battlestar galactica theme?

  • What the, action sound?! Love that the 70's porn music was everywhere back then.

  • So Vader casually gets out of the tie fighter while in mid air????

  • heh heh I'm just amazed that solar panels would work in deep space

  • Wonder what Star Wars would've been like today, if Arnold had been cast as Vader. (Either as an actor or just voice).

    :-P

  • "We've lost our solar panels!"

    WTF?

  • I guess Vader was too cheap to buy the batteries "sold seperately". ^_^

  • @Flaxalf the wings. they are solar pannels as well ;)

  • @Flaxalf Those seriously are "solar panels" according to the Star Wars universe.

  • Woah...I think James Cameron stole the line "I'll be back" from that kid. I think George Lucas can sue him

  • Wings dont work in space..lol..there is no atmosphere..lol

  • oh god i remember that annoying sound it made. nothing like the real thing but it sure pissed off my mom

  • LOL!!!!! That' so funny...and true!!!
