I have a theory: I think Teresa was awakened or became an awakened being when she had shed tears after realizing how much Claire loved here. Does anybody think that an emotion as intense as love can awaken one's true powers- I think- as in Teresa's case, that's why she was so powerful. That she was already an awakened being (although not in a hideous form) when she fought the other Claymores.

On top of that she died because she let her guard down. Which she only did because she believe in pri because clare change her into some one who would believe others.

It has all of the chapters so far and a new chapter comes out once a month. Its such a good manga and the anime actually did it justice until the final episodes
I hate that they ended so suddenly with the anime.They could've made the version of the anime without killing Teresa and this would be a lot interesting.Manga became boring because of the same suddenly dead of abyssals(lawl okay 2 of them did fight and one died...but you can't just make fun of the other two being killed so easily like they were nothing).I hope they will make another season with anothey story.

i still think that the manga rules over. graphic whys the anime was good but the anime goes on a complete differ course than the manga in the last 2 or 3 episodes which was gay...and besides the manga is on-going and explains a lot more than the anime. dont get me wrong i dont hate the anime just prefer the manga and reccommend it a lot more to ppl who havent or have already watched the anime.
i agree, claymore was an AMAZING anime, however in my opinion it has the worst ending to an anime EVER. I was more than dissapointed with claymore's ending.

Riful went against the abyss feeders and 2 claymores who can get the same power as a abyss one.
Which then she still kept her ground, until pric the most powerful of them all, kills her.
