What Bush irresponsibly did has nothing to do with what Obama is doing now (inflating the budget and debt, and stripping personal liberties). As I have said, bailing out the corporations was something that should not have been done PERIOD. No bailouts to anyone. Including homeowners who default. I would rather that Obama load a fleet of C5 cargo planes with 400 million, $10.00 bills and fly over America coast to coast with the doors open letting the cash fly out to the people, than to give it to corporations that have already proven themselves incompetent. But Obama seems to feel that bailing out corporations is the way to go.

My idea would be to return to a truly laissez faire government philosophy. Markets will rise and collapse on their own no matter what government does. Government historically exacerbates economic downturns and inflates up swings (i.e. Fannie / Freddie). Not to say we don't need courts of law and investigatory agencies protecting people from thievery, but we don't need a bureaucrat standing between us and the market place.
