That's a tiny pacu, probably only a few months old. Luckily, they eat nuts and fuit instead of flesh.

That is a red belly Piranha!!!! Not a PACU !!! A Pacu is blackish gray with an overwash of silver!!!!! A Pacu has flattened teeth for crushing hard fruits and crustaceans which make up it's diet !!!! It doesn't have the shearing teeth of a piranha which is fortunate for humans because Pacus in excess of 15 pounds are not uncommon while a 7 pound Piranha is extremely rare !!!!!!! Could you imagine what a school of 15 pound Piranhas would eat every day!!!!!!!! TenStarsplus !!!!!

Tthat is a RED BELLY PACU i own 4 of them and in the store they said it was not a piranha it was a red belly pacu. and believe me i have read almost anything about them i have had mine for 4 years. and just go google red belly pacu idiot.

Ok that is the biggest red belly Piranha. But your weight is way off. 3,800 kg is 8,377.566lbs. There is no way it weighted more then a truck and she is holding it. it's more like 3,800 Grams = 8.377566lbs. But it is a beautiful fish!!

@waltblack01 Except that is not a piranha , it's a pacu. Easy to see even if you just look at the lack of teeth. Lots of people have pacu just to make their tanks look like they have piranha, since their coloring and shape is similar.
