does anyone know why even though i prep my hair with heat protectant my hair gets SUUUUPER frizzy and dry and dead when i curl my hair? -_- is it just my hair type ?

No its because heat protectant doesn't really protect hair from heat, it just makes you hair look smooth by loading it with silicones. Heat dries hair out no matter what you use to preotect it, sadly :(

mine used to too! but then i saw fafinettex3's technique; try spraying the strand first with hairspray and while it's still wet, roll it up in the curling iron. Works even in the most stubborn hair! my curls stay for days now when they used to fall out in an hour or two :)

but then u are bruning ur hairs, thats why they stand there, do it every day and 1 month u are gona have to make insane haircut....i agree if its only for a weekend but for everyday....try to find out something which goes good with ur REAL hair...

GIRL! i don't do that every day! I barely curl my hair anyways. I only curl my hair on special occasions, like my bday or my graduation (which is coming up this weekend :P) I'm not stupid! I'm just letting her know a technique on how to get your curls to stay longer.

P.S. my real hair IS curly, so I wear my hair diffused with curl product; I only spiral curl it with a curling iron on special occasions, so don't say sarcastic things about "finding things that goes good with my REAL hair" when you don't even know how I wear my hair
