the correct title of this vid should be, "Changing the LCD on a 3gs." If the backlight coil is damaged, for instance by water, you can change the LCD 200 times without success. You did mention the coil in your vid though, so gotta give you that much.

lcd has nothing to do with backlight. im not doubting that this may have fixed some peoples phones but they didnt have broken backlights they prolly had cables that were loose and to simply fix that you wouldnt have to buy an lcd. i would never trust a 14 year old with my phone anyways....
